ich habe es noch nicht lange gespielt, aber das Spiel ist sehr unterhaltsam, es gibt viel zu erkunden und die Aktivitäten sind ( bis jetzt ) zum Glück noch einfach. ( ich bin B-Klasse )

Insgesamt würde ich sagen das es ein super Spiel ist, und dass es sich lohnt es zu kaufen :)

2004 - 2005,
It's a nice, sunny day in the weekend and you go out and walk to the gas station around the corner,
you take a few cool cans of Red Bull from the cool fridge and pay.
You go back and stop at that friend who first had an Xbox 360 to see what game he was playing which at times was mostly the old burnout games purely for the Takedowns.
There's a lot to do in the open world of Burnout Paradise, but Takedowns is already what it was all about. (Of course Takedown competitions are also present in Paradise Remastered, what did you think?)
Online modes are also available for that extra challenge and those extra difficult takedowns!

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box is a racing game, where you have to build your license by winning different types races in Paradise City and get more cars to be the best in the city.

The game for it's times looks great, especially the car models when you crash out, which is incredible. The mood of this game is really something. Maybe the music and the whole area gives most to it, but I genuinely enjoyed the game to play. The different types of vehicles and boost types fits for every playstyle, so you can find what fits for you. There are not just cars in the game, but motorbikes too, which makes the game more interesting. The controls really easy in general. The race types are okay.

However, what really didn't like in this game, is that it become really grindy around the halfway point. For me, there was not enough motivation the play the game too much. Not even mentioning the the issue with crashing, because with a fast car, you crash easier, which is understandable, but gets really frustrating overtime. Sometimes the Marked races feels rubber banding cars to destroy you.

But if I want to be honest, I still like the game, mechanically is well made, but it can be somewhat boring later, but still a great game, which I can recommend. I don't know how good or bad the remastered version, but you I know this version is worth the shot, if you can get it around 7 - 10€.

It's not Burnout 3: Takedown, (Here to hoping they make a remaster for Burnout 3: Takedown.), but it's pretty fun anyways. I was gifted this game by one my best friends as he had an extra copy of it and I was more than happy to use it.

Really sucks that EA took this version of the game off of Steam, but you know that's just EA for you!

This game was the absolute bomb back in 2008, but I have to recognize some of the fun was the mystery and potential of the future.

All of it laid bare with a finite amount of content doesn't have the same shine. Back in the day this game was the hangout spot. If you didn't feel like sitting in a chat doing nothing on a PS3, you hopped into Burnout: Paradise. You'd grind races and chat with friends about how if you parked on top of a certain parking garage you could watch the bridge to the DLC island be built a little bit more with each free update.

You'd talk about whether or not you'd buy new DLC cars and how goofy some of them were. You'd debate about which cars were the best.

Now it's a woefully lonely experience by comparison. There is online but it's akin to playing Halo 3 on your old xbox. Yeah, you can play custom games together over LAN, but it's all pre-arranged.

If you've never played BP: congratulations. This is a fundamental game around which all arcade-y open world racing games would crib from for the next decade. This is the game that made Criterion worth buying out by EA. When they developed Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the big selling point was they'd secretly made another Burnout: Paradise, just under the NFS banner.

It was amazing. It still is amazing. I'm just too old and have too much context to appreciate it as-is.

I am writing this review as a person, who never was fan of racing games. The only exception for me was mobile racing games on java in 2000s' (Asphalt series from Gameloft). However, I enjoyed Burnout Paradise even that I didn't play a lot in it. Also the soundtrack here is pretty good, especially the main title - Paradise City by Guns'N'Roses. It was chosen so good by developers than now this game will be associated for me with this song forever.

A good arcade racing game, but nothing compared to the old BURNOUT games like Revenge or Takedown.

I liked the idea of the open world races, where you could take the road you prefer, to become first.

If you get it during sale, there is no loss!

Probably my favorite racing game. The controls are solid, but vary reasonably car to car. It's a straight-forward racing game without a lot of goofy secondary points systems, like The Crew or other open-world games, and there's a lot of small stuff in Paradise City to find. I'm 36 hours in and still finding stuff.

The soundtrack is good and reasonably varied as well, allowing you to select songs to play or not, making the gameplay a lot more enjoyable so you don't have to suffer through a bunch of terrible tracks if you don't want to.

Got this like 2 years ago, and do I still advice it? Yes.
This version > Remastered.
Why? Is it because I played OG since July of 2008? No, it's just way better.
Though it's extended support ended on August of 2019, it's still rock solid.
Just my take, but this version is more optimized than Remastered version, meaning you can run this on a toaster but not Remaster.

Sad that this game is no longer for sale. Luckily I bought it a long time ago. This was the epitome of my child hood. Nothing makes me hate EA more than watching them swallow great studios whole before disbanding them once theyve had their fill. I'm leaving a good recommendation for the game, not the Publisher. Not that anyone needs reinforcement that EA is a cesspit of gaming despair.

One of the classics of the open-world racing games; definitely recommended even if multiplayer is dead, there's still lots of races and vehicles to unlock so for perfectionists out there, this game has a lot of achievements for them to gather, all while having fun in races, stunt runs, and marked man missions.

Not recommended anymore, since the server is shut down by EA. EA should refund all the people who bought this or upgrade their Burnout Paradise Ultimate box to the remastered version for free. Otherwise EA should be sued for this. I bought this game many years ago, and didn't got the time to play it because of work. Now because the corona virus everywhere, I have more time to play games, then I can not play this game anymore correctly, i.e. I can not save my game without the servers from EA which means totally unplayable. What a pity!

Its sort of Action Racing game for Low Specs Pc Users. I really like it. But Unfortunately This version is not available in steam. But you can buy the Remaster version on steam . You'll enjoy it. In other racing game it will show the road to race, but in this game you have to figure it out the main race track. But the best part of the game is you can choose bike and car for racing any time. If you wanna play bike rider then choose bike or if you wanna play car racer then choose car. Its up to you.

When I was about eleven, this was the first game I bought for myself with my own money from my job, I got it on the xbox 360, played it a ton, I unlocked everything on the console. Had a blast, really liked exploding cars.

For me this game its awesome but yeah for me doesn't have any problems to run on my PC.(Also Its me or the first version of Burnout paradise for pc on steam is better on optimization than the new remastered one on steam?)

My hours played as of this review say 152 hours. This is a lie, I have bled, breathed and sweat this games and I love it to death. I played on my past steam account that has been lost to time, and I got every single car, upgraded car, etc. When I got it on this account, I felt like it would be a pain having to get every single thing again, but I loved the thrill of it all./ At first glance it seems like a regular racing game, which don't get me wrong it's nothing crazy. But then you play it, and you can't put it down. I know this game isn't relevant anymore, but if you don't believe it is worth your money, then look for a sale because I guarantee it is worth your time. This is a great game but DO NOT GET IT ON STEAM. This is an outdated version that doesn't have all of the DLCs. Get it on origin instead which goes under the name of Burnout Paradise Remaster. That one has all the DLCs and working multiplayer unlike this version.

Начал играть почти сразу после релиза, пройти не смог. Спустя время, уже и забыл название игры, хотя помнил, что меня удивило в первый раз, это повреждение автомобилей, возможность свободно передвигаться в гонке с соперниками, не стандартный способ получения нового транспорта. В силу моей ностальгии, решил все таки пройти до конца, прохождение игры займет у вас где-то 8 часов, если считать получение титров после несколько десятков гонок. По сути игру нельзя пройти, потому что после прохождение игры ничего особо не изменится. Раздел с мотоциклами я не играл, ничего нового я там не увижу. Ощущение после прохождение игры, что игру делали в спешке, механики игры сделаны шикарно, но в игре нет сюжета, нет цели к которой нужно идти. Стим версия не включает в себя DLC, достижений и стоит невообразимых денег, стоит обратить внимание на другие площадки, где можно купить данную игру.

There's no achievements and the game is not the remastered version, buy and play it on Origins instead

it may be a old game now but it is very much worth the money, for the this and the remasterd version, it has great raceing and amazing game play, would recommended this game in a hart beat

The open world design of this game in comparison to the older Burnout games unfortunately makes this infinitely less fun. Instead of being able to playing events as you please, you have to waste tons of time pointlessly driving around to get to events and then those events are also much more boring than in the older games. Many many races, which nobody wants to do and only very few of the destruction and insanity that made the older Burnout games so great. Pretty disappointing.

For a game which i think is now over 10 years old, its graphics and gameplay are still to be compared to todays NFS series. This game was a childhood favourite of mine and is still a game i play frequently to this day. 100% recommend buying this game for a pass timer or of you're into grinding for 100% completion, this game has multiple different objectives to complete from different stunt jumps, to all the yellow barriers you have to crash through, aswell as the extensive collection of cars, trucks and motorbikes, youll never be bored of things to do

once you change up the weird keyboard controls and get over the fact that it doesn't let you bind your mouse buttons, it's literally burnout paradise city from the PS3 even on keyboard it feels the same and it honestly even lets you fine tune the dead zones and sensitivity on the steering and accel/breaking which allows you to really hone in how you want the cars to feel, I've probably spent over 500hrs on the PS3 version and will probably spent another 500hrs on this
