Macht lust auf Me(e)(h)r

Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean
The visuals are beautiful, you can do amazing views with the free cam and it never gets old. The sinking is a very important thing for a game like this, it really shows you what people saw when the ship was sinking. my only problem is that there isn't that much to explore. Overall, this game is fantastic and i highly recommend.

Its mostly just outside of the ship, with few selected interiors, yet its still nice to walk on the outside of the ship. There are also tons of info boxes with details, so... its not the best game, but its worth its price and worth a try, if you like those ships.

If the crew and passengers were onboard with a good level of AI, along with all areas being accessible and more interactivity being in place, this experience would go from great to mindblowing.
Highly recommend but hope that further work is done on it.

The games graphics, SFX and music are second to none and have a really warm feel to them in exploring mode, this really allows you to experience the ship as it was/should have been. Similarly, when you enter the sinking mode it allows you realise the peril of the situation. This may seem soppy but in night time free cam the music and graphics (along with that stunning skybox) gets me everytime - wonderful.
Now alot of people where hoping for a full fledged game and I know this isnt one, however it is possibly the best walking sim out there. The fact they say they may update the game with more gameplay/interior space in the future shows the devs care and that I must commend.
Nice work :D

Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/03z6i7_5VnY
I think this experience is a great deal at the current sale price of $8.24 USD. This is an incredibly detailed recreation of the Britannic. It really does bring the ship back to life through the magic of virtual reality. Keep in mind, this is a strictly educational / historical experience. The only experience is being on the ship, there are no interactions of any kind, other than being able to walk around the exterior (top deck) and some of the interior rooms of the ship.
You do have full locomotion and snap turning. The game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, on cinematic quality (highest), I was getting about 50-60 frames per second. That is on the low side, however, it did not effect my enjoyment of the experience at all. I did experience this on the Oculus Quest 2, using the Oculus link cable.
The visuals are excellent for the most part, especially on the interior rooms. However, the areas are quite small and there's only a few places to visit. You can visit the entire exterior (top deck) of the ship, but there are many rooms you won't be able to enter. There's only a few places you can actually get into. Gates will open automatically for you once you're near them and you just kinda drop or climb from stairs in an unnatural way.
I want to estimate that you can visit every room and do everything in about 2 hours, assuming you're doing so to fully enjoy the experience and not trying to speed run it. So there isn't a lot of content. I will say that the ambient ship sounds are excellent. However, the waves and the horizon are pretty poor quality, especially compared to everything else. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in this historic ship.
Rate 7/10.

It would sound very creepy but I also wanted to see the ship sink to the bottom, not just hit the water.
Great idea but results could be way better.

I'm most impressed with the graphics with the exception with circular objects having that somewhat hex shape to them the graphics are as if I were on the ship in real life and the music they chose for the exterior exploration is the best i ever seen for a game like this for some reason it puts me in a drinking vibe especially when it gets dark and the ship lights come on and that awesome sky view as for the sinking I like there is now music so I can play what ever music I desire for example in the final plunge I played Sia Breathe Me a perfect song for the final plunge but I do hope they make the interior accessable during the sinking or add an escape mode so you can see the effects in the interior such as the dome in the forward and aft Grand Stair Case like the escape mode in Fall Of The Titanic .
And as for the interactive gaming Game just called Britannic nothing was done right not even all the funnels fell it was like they released the game in a hurry and got every thing just a little wrong now that this Epic Game is out that other game is no doubt GONNA FAIL.
and one more thing about the sinking I wish the engine noises in the time being were the same as in the Real Time Sinking them guys made.
Anyhoo I strongly recommend this game to all.

As far as I can judge so far, the developers of this simulation have succeeded in creating a historically accurate image of the Britannic. In any case, I have not noticed any discrepancies when researching in books and on the Internet. And this is very important to me, because I use this program mainly as a reference for my model building project of a conversion of the Titanic to the Britannic.
5/5 stars... white stars of course! :)

I was stoked about this game -- and I am still stoked about the main Titanic project -- but Britannic: POTM didn't deliver.
Here's what I liked: the graphics are superb, the animations realistic, and the player movement system well put together (little clipping).
Here's what I didn't like: why is each room a separate menu option? Players should be able to move throughout the ship from one room to another. I understand that the entirety of the interior was not the goal of this project, nor did I expect it to be, but the fact that I can't go from the grand staircase to the pool without multiple loading screens is unacceptable. Model a couple hallways or something. Additionally, the sinking is extremely underwhelming. The developers ignored the entirety of what makes the sinking fun to play: watching the water rise. For example: we're promised a grand staircase but only get it in its static form. In its current state, the sinking is an entirely external affair. You cannot enter ANY interior during the sinking. This too is unacceptable. I should be able to see the water go up each stair, flood the hallways, etc. Luckily, there's a $3 Britannic game that already does the same thing this game does (external sinking). Severely disappointing. Lastly: how are you going to make a game about a sinking ship and include no swimming or drowning system? Here's what happens when you touch the water: you stand on top of it. That's it. And that too is unacceptable.
Considering you can get a similar sinking experience from a game 80% cheaper, and considering the museum mode (while impressive graphically) has HUGE problems with loading times, navigation through menus, and the fact that it feels unfinished, I would wait for a steep discount following updates from Vintage Digital before purchasing.
Let me finish by saying this: I truly, seriously wanted to love this game. I have been following the development of Titanic HG for years, and this was Vintage Digital Revival's first opportunity to show us, the fans, that they can deliver. But instead, this unfinished, unpolished, game makes me much more weary about the future of what they can produce.
