Diese Spiel hat keine Zukunft! Kauft es nicht!

Warum? :

-Bots sind dumm und laufen immer in einer Reihe
-Es gibt kaum Spieler
-Server sind relativ mies
-Grafik ist eher meh
-wenig abwechslungsreich
-zu wenige Modi

Das Konzept ist an und für sich gut, unterm Strich einfach unnötig und schlecht umgesetzt. Keine kontinuierliche Playerbase vorhanden.

gekauft und wollte gleich mal loslegen,es gab da nur ein problem.keiner spielt es.Steam und co. bitte seit so fair und tut reine multiplayer spiele wo die server tot sind entnehmen.oder der publisher kann ein free to play drausmachen.

Would love to recommend it, but until it goes free to play, it's a huge waste of money. Fun game, but developers seem to have just wanted that quick buck. FREE TO PLAY is the minimum you all could do for the people who paid (people still paying?) and played when it came out.

Either make this game F2P or remove it from the steam store.

Honestly this game had so much potential, The Faceit integration for comp, the skins the maps the game play flow. THIS game is what i have always been looking for as a more competitive replacement for COD. sadly it died so fast and the devs have abandoned it. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

I haven't played this game in awhile.. The devs no longer support it.. So I can't recommend it. While I did play this game, it was a blast. Think CoD4 SND level of quality. Tons of fun.

The devs really messed up when they stop supporting the game. This game could of took over not just on pc but even on console. Really wish they would just come support there game again. It was all for a quick buck but they didnt see the bigger picture. This game could of got all the snd players from cod, rainbow 6 player, csgo,and alot more. good job a droping the ball on such i good game. Hopefully one day new dev will make a game just as great! BATTALION 1944 was an incredibly fun game to play at launch because it brought the best of Counter Strike and Search and Destroy (COD) into a completely new title with engaging maps and fun gameplay. Regardless of how I felt about the game when it came out, it is pretty much completely dead in 2021 and unplayable without a lot of coordination so although this game might have gotten a thumbs up from me at launch, it just isn't a functional game today and gets a thumbs down.

The mechanics are great, it feels rewarding to use them well. Like a strange mix of cod 2 and cod 4.

However, the playerbase was dwindling when I last played and now its essentially gone by all accounts. The devs have rinsed their hands of it to make a new game called promod.

Please respect the backers and at least make it free to play.

Battalion 1944 is a WWII shooter that doesn't do much to set itself apart or feel very memorable. The gameplay is alright, but bad spawns and quick deaths can be frustrating. Graphical issues are noticeable and break immersion. Wartide drags on for too long, remember a little call of duty modern warfare 4

Game had a rocky launch but then they kept improving and supporting it.
During the 2nd half of 2019, it was very fun and challenging to play but unfortunately the game died down in 2020 and the devs are not supporting it anymore. If they end up making it free to play and supporting it again then I will change the review.

Read the negative reviews, most of them are spot on. Had the potential to fill a void that competitive gamers want(and was fun for a few months), but the developers took the money and ran. Would not support anything bulkhead puts out unless it was free for being a kickstart supporter that never got my stuff for b44 like many others.

Devs to lazy to fix the game. I remember playing this game at its peak and the there was a major bug were games wouldn't end and you would get no exp. It took weeks for them to fix it. Basically its a great game with garbage devs that killed the game.

It's sad this game is actually really fun even playing against bots is fun since that is all you can do is play against bots I highly recommend against this. It seems the developers abandoned it and has no players I keep getting bots every time. I only paid $8 since it was on sale which is better than $20 there is content worth $8 but feels empty since no players.
The graphics are amazing and well done but i have to turn the shadows down even on a 2080 S which tells me it still has to have work done on it. The maps are well made and small for competitive gaming but again NO PLAYERS!!. Guns sounds are nice and sound real to me which I love in video games all in all I would not buy this unless you lose internet and want BOT matches then go for it but I recommend against it.

Why is this game still selling? It's a multiplayer game designed for 5 vs 5 matches and there's not even 5 concurrent players.

Did the developers deserve to fail?
I believe that BRAMMERTON was the main reason for this game's failure. His attitude towards the community, how he handled public relationships and directed the game were disgusting and he should never be entrusted such a project again. If you see this guy on a project ever again be sure not to support it as it will fail, mark my words.

Did the game have potential?
Sure, if it wasn't for idiotic management decisions.

Should you buy it now?
I wouldn't recommend anyone downloading it even if it was free.

The reason this game died is the reason why I only played it for 2 and a half hours only. In the beggining it was full of cheaters and I couldn't find a game without one in it, then I stopped playing, and so did everybody else. It's a shame because I liked it's gameplay and it is a very well crafted game but everybody left and now it is sadly... dead.

Good game but theres no one playing it. I feel sorry for the devs, they didn't deserve this. My advice would be to make the game free and try to develop paid DLC's and skins.

Hear me out everyone. This is a great game and i miss playing it, but its completely dead. We need to find a date and time to all start playing again to re establish the player base and make it big again. I know there are countless people out there who love and miss the game as much as i do.

Nope.

Was promising, for sure. However, the dev's picked up and quit.
There's no dev support, but the game still isn't free.

Also, there's no playerbase. So have fun finding a game.

Unfortunate, it was so promising. But don't buy it now.

PLEASE MAKE THIS GAME FTP!!! I miss playing this game after cs got old years ago and Valorant lost its fun quick. This game was fantastic but there's no player base since no one plays anymore and you're STILL charging $20 USD when Valorant and CS are FTP. If there was a player base I'd still play this game but all I keep reading is its still dead, and still trying to con people for $20... I recommend this game only if you somehow manage to get it free, otherwise don't pay the $20.

I had fond memories of this game when it first released and i could clearly remember just how fun and well executed this game was! The gunplay, movement and weapon balance were all spot on. Fast forward today, end of 2020 and i decided to hop back on but sadly, THIS GAME DIED LAST YEAR and it was a death that i truly think it didnt deserve. This game did many things right however was overshadowed by releases such as BF1/BFV and COD WWII. My advice is save your money, and let this game rest in peace.

Asking 20 bucks for this isn't fair due to the state it currently is in since there's cheaper (or free) games with bot matches too; recommended only if/when it starts gaining players again.

Though I enjoy playing against bots, I think PvP is a better fit for this game. But for PvP you need players which is exactly what it doesn't have anymore. Its 24-hour peak was 8 people so if the developer wants the game to live on, I think it's crucial to either go free to play price, lower the price, or re-launch it in some way or form.

It is good game with great potential to be new DoD, but its completely dead.

I had such high hopes for this game since i played the BETA, it was a fun game. But since i Bought the game I have not played against 1 person even in ranked. I was hoping this would be the new DoD style game, but no. I play a ranked match with nothing but bots, and it says as a match reward i got 2 battle chests, i go to my inventory, no battle chests. I think i've won at least 10 battle chests in ranked, and I've only gotten 1 to actually open. All my time in this game (which at the time of this review is only like 2 hours, not counting the beta), I haven't gone against a real person in ranked this whole time. No one is playing this game, and I wish they were. I'll change my review when this game actually works.
I REALLY REALLY wanted to game to be good, I've been following it since they released their first trailer for the game. But as of right now, if i want to play a WW2 shooter, i go to either Day of Defeat or Heroes and Generals.
But I will keep trying to play this game (since I just spent $40 on it) in the hopes that someone besides me plays it.

This is not worth your money it looks good but has weird performance, guns work as you would expect but, the map design doesn't service the gameplay. Play CSGO or Valorant instead they are free and have much better map design.

Game had some promise initially.
The devs had multiple chances to get this game going, but failed every single time.
Now it's dead and abandoned.
One of the worst Early Access histories out there.
Console Players who backed this game got scammed of their money too (they don't get the game anymore).

Very unbalanced game ,you at lvl 10 play vs lvl 200 ,most of the time play vs bots ,is a dead game ,don't wort 1 Euro.

Final Verdict: It's not dead yet, but it's on life support and it ain't looking good

I got this on the Humble Bundle. It looked good at the time. Seemed like a WW2 MP shooter with some COD mixed with CS gameplay. It does seems like it would be a fun game to play for some mindless arcade MP mil shooter action. However, the problem is that you'll be mostly going against bots.

The most amount of people I ever played with, including myself, was 4. Usually it was only 1 other person. And that just gets boring fast, doesn't matter whether you're winning or you're losing. I tried this game on 3 different weekday nights and it was always the same result.

It does have several modes. The different guns have different attributes. It's more like COD than CS; very much on the arcade side. The graphics don't look really good. Sounds are just okay.

When I first played the game, it crashed. It was running my CPU at 100%. I had to reconfigure my anti-virus software. Now it seems to work fine. But it did install this anti-cheat software which I don't like. I can't wait to uninstall this game and never play it again. It's not bad, but with only bots, it ain't worth the hassle.

Rate 4/10. Might as well be dead. Bots are not the worst, but they're not fun to go against either

The original Call of Duty 2 and 4 modern warfare still have more players than this game which is sad considering this game was inspired by them.....
Its a solid competitive shooter just a shame that it is now dead!

Should be f2p to at least try get the player base back!!

On paper this game sounds amazing. A WWII comp game supported and integrated with Faceit. Everything from the maps to the weapon handling just feel off. Maybe you can get used to it, but how can you when the games legit dead. At the time of writing this the games total player base peaked today with a total of 54 players... during a -60% sale.
