Die Menschheit wird seit 100 Jahren erstmals wieder direkt von Titanen angegriffen. Diese schaffen es in kürzester Zeit das Tor der 50 Meter hohen und 10 Meter dicken, äußeren Schutzmauer Maria zu durchbrechen. Auch Erens Familie wird Opfer der Titanen. In die inneren Burgmauern zurückgedrängt hat Eren nur ein Ziel: dem Aufklärungstrupp beizutreten, um seine Mutter zu rächen und der Menschheit ihre Freiheit zurückzugeben.

Du bestimmst, ob Eren dieses Abenteuer gelingt. Schlüpfe in deine Lieblingsrolle der 104. Trainingseinheit und mache unter anderem als Eren, Levi, Hanji oder Mikasa, Jagd auf die Titanen. Schwinge dich mit deiner Manöver-Ausrüstung in die Lüfte, um schnell von einem Ort zum anderen zu gelangen, den Angriffen der Titanen auszuweichen und an ihre Schwachstelle, ihren Nacken, zu gelangen.

Die Schärfe deiner Klingen nimmt mit jedem deiner Angriffe ab und das Gas für deine Manöver ist ebenso begrenzt. Du musst mit den limitierten Ressourcen umgehen lernen, um den Titanen nicht zum Opfer zu fallen. Ebenso kannst du im Spiel Waffen erbeuten, die nicht im Manga vorkommen und die an Stelle der Schwerter verwendet werden können. Es wird viele verschiedene Arten von Titanen im Spiel geben, die dich durch die Besonderheiten ihrer Angriffsmuster dazu zwingen dein Kampfverhalten anzupassen und dir immer neue Herausforderungen bieten. Sei wachsam und lasse dich nicht fressen, zerschmettern oder durch die Luft schleudern…

Erkunde die Welt außerhalb der Mauern und mache Jagd auf den weiblichen, den kolossalen oder den gepanzerten Titanen. Die dem Anime nachempfundene Grafik, die bekannten Schauplätze und Charaktere, die namenhaften Titanen und die atemberaubenden Szenarien ermöglichen es dir, den Kampf der Menschheit gegen die Titanen hautnah zu erleben und maßgeblich zu beeinflussen!

Komplett basierend auf der ersten Staffel, erwarten dich gut 100 Stunden voller Action, taktischer Kämpfe und Entdeckungen abseits der bekannten Story aus Manga und Anime.

Ich habe jetzt einige Stunden in das Game investiert und einen Teil der Story, sowie des Gameplays gesehen. Bisher spielt es sich unglaublich gut, sehr atmosphärisch und mit den altbekannten Charakteren. Für A.O.T Fans ein absolutes muss und mich begeistert das Spiel bisher. ABER leider gibt es ein paar gravierende Probleme:

1. Steuerung..
Mit Maus und Tastatur ist es so gut wie unmöglich zu spielen. Die Umsetzung dazu ist grottenschlecht. Auch mit PS4 Gamepad ist es eher umständlich, da das Spiel lediglich die XBox-One Steuerung beinhaltet (zu Mindest hab ich keine PS4 Steurung gefunden) Mit XBox-Gamepad spielt es sich dann aber großartig. Lediglich die Kameraempfindlichkeit ist teils etwas grob und zu schnell. Auch die Steuerung zu Pferd ist etwas.. grobschlächtig, daher verzichte ich meist auf das Tier und flitze per 3D-Ausrüstung durch die Pampa. Was auch gerne passiert: Hauswände... ich denke jeder der es schon gespielt hat, hat Bekanntschaft mit ihnen gemacht. Hauswände sind im Weg. Wieso rennt man nich an ihnen entlang nach oben, sondern schrammt gewisser Maßen Bauch vorran dran hoch und über die Dächer hinweg... vorrausgesetzt DAS geht. Leider bin ich allzu oft dagegen geprallt und hab den Grip verloren. Kostet teils viel Zeit.. Aber alles in allem eine schöne, angenehme, nicht zu komplizierte Game-Pad Steuerung

2. KI/Gegner KI:
Es passiert leider sehr oft das die Zielpunkte der Titanen in Wände und Gebäude glitchen und daher nicht angreifbar sind. ärgerlich.. vor Allem wenns der letzte Punkt ist. Auch Gruppenmitglieder glitchen oft durch, oder ignorieren Befehle und Anweisungen. Aber das ich aktuell auf leicht ( xD) spiele, ist es nicht ganz so schlimm. Die meisten Kills gehen eh auf mein Konto.

3. Gameplay:
Ich befürchte das das Spiel sehr stark auf grinden und sammeln ausgelegt ist, wenn ich so sehe was ich alles sammeln und aufwerten, herstellen und verwerten kann. Derartige Möglichkeiten begrüße ich. Leveln, sammeln und aufrüsten klingt für mich eigentlich gut, SOFERN es nicht in einem sehr übertriebenen Maße benötigt wird. Aber da kann ich noch nicht ganz so viel sagen. Dafür muss ich noch bissle weiter spielen. Ich bin gespannt was hierzu noch auf mich zu kommt~

Mir gefällt das Spiel bisher und ich hoffe ich werde nicht noch eines Besseren belehrt. Ein gutes, sehr angenehmes und spannendes Game für alle die den Anime mögen. Wer den allerdings noch nicht kennt, sollte sich überlegen das Original erst zu genießen, ehe man sich ans Spiel wagt^^ Das Einzige was leider den Spaß etwas Dämpft ist der Preis, der sich seit einem einzigen Rabatt nicht mehr verändert hat, obwohl das Spiel schon ein paar Jährchen auf dem Buckel hat. Sehr schade. Kenne einige die es gerne haben würden, denen es aber zu teuer ist (mir für Normalpreis hier auch)

Tag allerseits,

hab das game vor 3 tagen gekauft und seit dem durchgehend gezockt. meine augen sind schon total rot, weil ich mir keine zeit nehme zu blinzeln. das kampfsystem lässt einem auch sein volles potenzial ausschöpfen und man kann jede millisekunde nutzen um kombos rauszuhauen (eine kombo ist nach nem kill x in die richtung des nächsten titanen dann r1 ,mit rechten stick nacken anvisieren, viereck, x, dreieck für eine doppeltötung in etwa 2 sekunden über teilweise 100 meter. es gibt auch animation cancellings die mit dem sprint auf x gehen. wie zb nach nem kill oder nach dem austausch der alten waffe in der luft, oder nach dem man einen anker auf nem titanen verkackt hat. so kann man instant weiter springen ohne auf cd zu warten.

also ich kann nur sagen das kampfsystem ist mega geil und super ausgetüftelt, sodass man teilweise 15 minuten ohne zu blinzeln nur durch die luft saust und titanen killt. bei den missionen kann man ränge erreichen, bei rang s gibts ne xtra belohnung! Und für nen xtra kill auf nen superstarken titanen sogar noch ne xtra belohnung! das heißt man wird fürs abfreaken auch noch richtig belohnt! und es ist garnich so einfach sich alle belohnungen einzusacken! ich musste sogar schon so 10mal ins graß beißen (von wegen schwierigkeitsgrad zu leicht [es gibt ne option wo man den leichten modus ausstellen kann]). hab das game mit epilog durchgezockt in ca 25 stunden. aber das NG+ (neues spiel mit altem equip) ist auch hervorragend! denn beim ng+ sind die belohnungen andere und die titanen die man bekämpft sind auch unglaublich stark // anders durch die spezialmissionen.

das einzige manko ist, dass die story mich nicht so ergreift wie in der serie. aber die story undendlich tief zu wiederholen wäre auch lw, von daher konnte man da nix machen. die scenen sind nämlich doch recht aufwendig betrieben.

das loot-system hält mich auch immer noch auf trap, es geht quasi unendlich- bis man die beste ausrüstung auf +100 hat.

ich denk mal ich werd noch so ca 50 stunden offline reinballern- damit komme ich auf 75 stunden offline spielzeit mit allen nebenquests und ng+ in der jede sekunde spannend und actionreich war.

alles in allem gebe ich dem spiel 10/10 punkten es macht super spaß und das nicht nur für fans der serie, sondern auch für hardcore gamer wie mich (ex dia2 in LoL).

Ein sehr geiles Game!
Ich bin schon lange Fan des Anime Attack on Titan und habe mich daher lange auf das Spiel gefreut.
Nun da es da ist musste ich mich auch direkt in das Abenteuer stürzen! Die Grafik ist sehr gut,
Abstürtze oder Lag´s hatte ich nicht... allerdings ist es SEHR empfehlenswert, es mit einem Controller zu spielen!
Die Erklärungen der Tastensteuerung ingame, ist auch direkt auf einen Controller ausgelegt ( allerdings nicht auf den, den ich habe :D )...
ich selbst spiele mit einem Ps3 Controller.
Es gibt sogar einen Koop Modus, den ich aber zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht testen konnte :).

If you are thinking about getting this game, just buy Attack on Titan 2. The story is pretty much the same but you get your own personal OC that you can customize and give your own story to.

The combat and gameplay is much more refined in the second one, my biggest turnoff for the first game is no matter what I was doing I could not get the camera settings right, and it made the game almost unplayable.

The second game is leaps ahead of the first and throws you into an epic action sequence!

This game was good. Until the sequel came out and was essentially the same game but improved in every way. Don't bother with this, just pick up Attack on Titan 2. They're the same price.

i hated this game because i didnt get used to the controls but with time it become like a drugs for me ! i didnt stop it until i got 100% its really nice game and without comparison with second game because i didnt play it yet but this game is awesome especially for the anime fans , go ahead and put your anger against all that titans !!

Lost my save for no reason after 9 hours of gameplay.

its a very good game. though the pc controls are a bit confusing so i recoomend connecting a control And one of My favourite things about it is that u can play as multiple ccharacters eren,armin,levi,mikasam and loads more. 5 stars

This probably is the best Musou game i have played in these years.Well,maybe you will doubt about why i called this game a Musou game if you know about the A.O.T or just even view the trial of this game-it is battle with god damn titan!How could you kill them easily?Well,yes,you are really weak,compare to the titan.But in this game,you could kill them easily by attack their neck.When you keeping play this game,you will find it is really easy for you to kill those titans.Not the boss.
And i love this game not only because it is a Musou game.You could shuttle on the map with a device called 3D maneuver gear.And i will say this device is the soul of this game,there is more space for you to operate while you are attack those titans.It is really amazing.I love it.
Story is based on the anime of A.O.T,is a story about tragedy,sacrifice,waken,struggle.I love them all except the Final Chapter,is designed by KOEI TECMO,so it is a little bored.Music is big and bright,too.
However,when you play this game for about 30 hours,you will find it become boring.That's because the mission and the map is so familiar.It is lacked of creation.Whatever,this game no doubt worth you try.And you will enjoy refreshing for the first 20 hour.

The Story mode seems to be where it's at, but I got 25 hours just playing co-op. The game is a bit simplistic and repetitive, but the thrill of zipping through the air at high speed, lining up that perfect strike helps make up for that. Not to mention the gameplay loop that gives you a reason to continue playing. You go on missions to acquire the items needed to upgrade your gear, which in turn allows you to take on tougher missions. Many missions involve a massive field, which changes up how you play by allowing you to ride horses to travel where your gear can't take you. I haven't gotten far enough in the game, though I hear that eventually, you need to make use of other equipment, such as grenades, in order to open up a titan for the killing blow. Overall, it's not the best game in the world, but any fan of the series will have a blast getting to play as their favorite characters in familiar locations against various titans.

Wings of Freedom follows the main storyline of AOT, featuring memorable characters from the manga and anime.

Pros -

- Multiplayer features.
- Stays true to the manga/anime.
- Characters you're bound to like.
- Some control over the storyline/battles.
- The training allows you to learn mostly everything before you delve into the game.

Cons -

- Using your keyboard to play is nearly impossible. A controller is so much better.
- Some of the battles are so all over the place that you'll forget what the objective is.
- If you like creating your own character, you cannot in this game.
- You'll die a lot unless you're careful.

This game is a cash grab designed to scam fans of the anime/manga, and if you don't believe me... You're paying $60 for a >8gb game. Lol. The art is gross and the content- as you can see from the file size- is very limited. It is worth no more than $10.

I had it gifted to me. I waited years to play it, and I feel bad for not trying it in the refund time frame. If you played the free tribute game, you don't need to play this. Spend your $60 on a game that's earned it.

Ngl, this games amazing, the story and episodes are a bit short and not all that much but at least doing survey missions and slowly progressing into the game even more is something! Love that I can choose any character that's manifested their appearances in episodes and play them myself. Would recommend getting this first if you haven't played AOT games or a beginner, and moving onto the second game for more advanced playing. :)

The graphics are really good, the ODM gear usage is very smooth and satisfying. The controls are really simple and the different swords, sabbards, and direction gear are all very intresting so overall its a good game

Attack on Titan has been apart of my life since I was very young, which is seen as a bad thing when it's really not, I got this game in order to relive and in a way experience the hardships with my very own eyes. And I did. I was even able to see things such as the capturing of Sawney and Beane and the expedition the Scouts went on right before the breaching of Trost. All of it was so much fun. I would get so frustrated at times, and there have been multiple occasions where I've almost broke something in the room with me. This game made me very happy, which is weird because of the plot, but I did have fun.

Also on my computer the game in itself was VERY laggy, but not to the point where it was difficult to play. I'd make sure to have enough room on your computer before playing the game. The other day, I had to shut my computer down right before I could save because I had been playing for so so so long that it basically overheated. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect.

I really like the Attack on Titan anime and I read some of the manga so I was excited to play this one.
The gameplay is nice and it's fun to navigate around the city slicing up titans, in the end it might feel a bit too repetitive tho even if it's a good game.
There was a bug which forced me to restart a mission, also my game saves was deleted for some reason.
I would say the price is a bit too high for the content that you get, I would only buy this if you really like AoT.

the ironic thing is that I absolutely despise the show
but the gameplay of zipping around and killing giant deformed human-like monsters is pretty damn good.

A faithful story mode, good controls and a fitting soundtrack. Sadly due to AOT2 existing this game is now obsolete since it's sequel goes through the same story and improves every aspect of this.

A re-telling of the Anime's season one, and liberties taken with season two. Decent, but highly repetitive and sometimes stale. If you enjoyed the show, you should have no problems with this.

Super repetitive
The game itself is great, but be prepared to do the exact same thing, in the exact same place, with the exact same lines of dialogue for a long time.
There is no meat on this bone.

The game feels amazing to play, and you truly feel like a titan killing machine. However into the late game it can be very grindy and repetitive, this is only made worse if you aim to get every achievement as some of them include getting every item.

All in all the experience is worth it, especially for attack on titan fans.

Very grind-y and same-y kind of game.
It's fun to play if you loved the series, but in general the game is pretty boring after you've gotten the hang of it.

Cash in title that wasn't complete garbage. Enjoyable, and the controls are like riding a bike. Once you know, it's actually easy and super enjoyable. The first time.

Worth it if you're a fan of the series and want to try a game/manga/anime title that ISN'T complete trash.

That being said, it does have its moments of frustration but, that's like any title. So, as before, see above.

Catch it sale if you can. Not worth it at full price.

I've always wondered if and when there's gonna be a proper Attack on Titan game. Then I found this.

This is THE game AoT I've always wanted to play and after a couple hours and it provides:
-Proper and fast paced gameplay
-Titans
-Small but good amount of playable characters
-Super fun repetitiveness
-Titans!
-Simple crafting for items
-Easy and fun way to get materials
-AND TITANS!

TITAAAAAAAAAANS!

(Though I recommend watching the anime first so it doesn't seem too fast paced story-wise)

The game is wonderful. It is very similar to the fan game but with more fluid controls. It's a little easier then the fan game but still very enjoyable. It has the whole story of the show in it which i really enjoy. It also contains a multiplayer although i havent had it work for me yet
