Willkommen in Aphes, einem Stadtstaat voller Magie und Wunder, inspiriert vom alten Rom und den klassischen griechischen Designs. Von den nebelverhangenen Gassen des Basars bis zu den düsteren Abwasserkanälen, von den mysteriösen Wäldern am Rande der Stadt bis zu den tiefen Abgründen voller glitzernder Kristalle sind die Landschaften von Aphes voller Schönheit und Gefahren.

Wähle eine Vielzahl von Fern- und Nahkampfwaffen und kombiniere sie nach Belieben! Das Talentsystem ermöglicht es dir, deinen Kampfstil auszuwählen und auszubauen, indem du zwei von sechs völlig unterschiedlichen Waffen wählst: Schwert und Schild, Doppelklingen, Speer, Hammer, Stab oder sogar magische Armbänder. Rüste einen magischen Stab aus, um deine Feinde aus der Ferne auszulöschen, oder wechsle zu einem gigantischen Streithammer, um sie in einem Nahkampf zu zerquetschen.

Katastrophale Weg- und Questführung. Wenn ich umherirre und keinen Anhaltspunkt habe wo ich lang muss, langweilt mich ein Spiel. Seltsame Mischung der Mechaniken funktionieren nicht gut miteinander und Teile des Spiels fühlen sich unvollendet an. Mieses Questsystem gab mir den Rest. Tschau

Excellent and challenging

This game excels on all its aspects:
- the music is amazing
- the graphics are great
- the story and the world is very detailed and interesting
- the gameplay is challenging
- choose your own play style by focusing on 2 weapons

There is absolutely nothing that game does wrong. My only complain is that it was way too long for my taste. Some people think they have more for their money when the game is very long. But older people like me don't have enough time to play these long games while trying to stay engaged in the story. Don't get me wrong, the story is great and there is ton of lore to read but if I want to read everything I need way more time.

I really wanted to rate this game as enjoyable but the lack of map and ambiguity in quest direction really hinders your enjoyment. Took me a lot of youtube videos to progress through the game and will continue to do so to try and finish this game. It doesn't really encourage exploration but more of mindless running if you will.

Lots of hack and slash, graphics is beautiful and the bosses provide enough challenge. Story is ok but not great.

Haven't really encountered any choices matter moments yet, so hope to find that soon..

This is pretty much Ps1 game compared to games like Path of exile,Skyrim,Dark souls,Warframe

My friend and I just had a new profound love for souls-like games and it is when she bought it for me. Thank you Maruh! <3

Let me start off by saying that you need no soulslike experience to play this gem. You might get fooled by videos, thinking the movement and controls are stiff, but in fact when you actually play it yourself everything is so smooth and the combat is very abstract once you unlock some skills. You have a good choice of weapons to use and elements to it (like fire, magic, thunder and ice).

My friend would ask me to stream my gameplay for her and we would sometimes laugh our asses off as I was playing on hard mode and struggling to kill mobs mostly and falling down the map :D

It has a good amount of interesting side-quests and side-bosses that you can enjoy, in case you are an explorer. All the bosses have a unique design and set of attacks, so they are enjoyable both on easy and hard difficulty mode.

The maps are prettily design and the mobs are so good to the point that they annoy the shit out of you :D but you end up making fun of them

At the first stages, the game has no map so it was a struggle for me but then I found if you talk to NPCs, they will give you some directions - don't worry, at a later stage you can teleport at any check points and you get so hooked into exploring and getting all items/chests, that you don't even need a map.

The game has two endings and if you are an achievement hunter, you might enjoy the 'better' ending as it requires you to complete a certain set of side-quests in order to get to that ending. There are some guides online if you struggle.

All in all, this game is definitely worth the money as it is a good amount of hours playtime (mind you I spent 37 and I still did not complete all quests) and the graphics are just beautiful. :coolchick:

I really, really wanted to like this game. It seemed like a scaled-down Dark Souls for those who don't have that kind of patience, or a more fleshed out Kena Bridge of Spirits. While it shares qualities with both of those games, the lack of map is absolutely infuriating. If you've got a poor sense of direction, little patience for reused environmental assets that add to that confusion, and even less patience for unclear directives, this game is not for you.

It has a lot going for it - different weapon styles, a deep upgrade system, what seemed like it could've been a cool plot if I could figure out how to keep going, etc...

I have high hopes that whatever this developer does next is great, there's just so much potential here. There's a lot to like about this game, but I do not have the patience to spend backtrack through identical looking environments - hoping I haven't been there before - to find the next objective.

Disney meets Dark Souls. No. Seriously, it feels like sometimes.

You play as a stronger than hundred men teenager girl who is half the size of any adult and is constantly trying to prove herself.

There is a lot of lore laying around the game like documents and images for you to waste time reading and collecting to probably forget a few minutes after. Believe me I've read everything I found in game and frankly there is sometimes too much, but you can just skip to the action anyway, every dialogue option and cutscene is skipable except end credits.

The story itself is okay, you try to help some people to lift a curse that's so bad it makes everyone immortal to the point everyone just wishes to die.

There are a lot of self righteous and whiny npcs that makes it feels like the world is so unfair and that anything you do trying to help them just makes them angrier and whinier and blame you for their lack of strength to make the world their utopic vision.

The game itself is quite fun, I enjoyed the combat and it has some mechanics like dodge, limited potions each checkpoint, dodge, respawning enemies if you die or rest in checkpoints, newgame+, block with shield, parry with spear, weirdly spinning with a hammer and also a staff that can be used as if it was a longbow, you can aím it!

What you see is what you get. The weapons you get in the early game are the same you gonna see the entire game, there are no finding cool weapons or shining armors around, but with a 6 weapon type variety in combat and they can combo together, they're also upgradeable and each weapon has its own talent tree with abilities and perks which makes things interesting. Perhaps adding new weapons and outfits would make things better.

Difficult itself isn't that much even if you play in challenge mode, the bosses could be something more, they tend to be pretty friendly and allow you to heal up and giving you enough openings to destroy them with ease despite their fancy moveset but the game has its challenging moments.

Graphics wise it's a really good looking game and has stuff like scaling fsr and the performance is good. I only encountered a bug that happens sometimes where the talent page font gets black making it hard to read them, but if you restart the game it fixes. Probably they gonna fix it soon in future updates.

It's a good and entertaining with the combat and talents, there's a nice story and annoying npcs and dialogues. I can easily recommend though, but I think the upcoming dlc should be part of the base game.
