- Ezio Auditore is HAWTT GODDAMN SWEET JESUS, YES SI MAESTRO
- You get to be the badass legendary fan-favorite master assassin Ezio Auditore what more do you want.
- You are playing a game in the pinnacle times of the AC franchise.
- On the Ezio Collection, you can truly sense the devotion and great innovative narrative telling towards the developers of this game.
- Being ezio auditore you feel like you can fuck any girl and kill anybody in Rome.
- i swear the classic AC game endings always makes me gasp so loud! i was always left dumbfounded shocked, confused, and soooo wanna play the next game. they're so good with cliffhangers.
- story is just majestic
- the COMBAT SO SMOOOTH goddamnit. A very good gameplay. Badass counter attacks, the kicks were an absolute good addition
- Bro this game was just badass, fierce, intense all at the same time. The suspense is just gives you so much adrenaline. much more action, suspense, thrill, badassery
- Improved Gameplay from the past two games (AC1 and AC2)
- It's remarkable how this game constantly manages to be one of the top picks everytime there's an AC tier list, and it just goes to prove how timeless and fantastic this game is.
What I Don’t Like About The Game:
- AC Brotherhood just takes a long time until you really get to do some stuff, so you just need to have a lot of patience when replaying
- The multiplayer and online is absolute jack-shit Ubisoft dosen’t give a fuck nowadays by their shitty online service anymore.
- This game will definitely frustrate you if you you will if you use controls too fast. With this game, you really need accuracy timing. Especially since you are using PC. Combat and gameplay will feel frustrating if you don't practice it, and my god is the combat good if you really practice its controls, its so goddamn smooth.
- my god the controls is bad at pc. you'll def get some fuck-ups and it makes the combat clumsy if you dont accurately choose the right controls at the right time.
My final rating: 9.2/10

The upsides:
- The combat was exciting and extremely satisfying.
- Graphics hold up decently well considering the game was made more than a decade ago.
- You can continue to play the game and upgrade your town even after the main story line is over (the world is full of side quests and things to buy)
- The voice acting was also really good and they even included bits of the Italian language into there which was a nice touch.
The downsides:
- Absolute garbage controls and UI for PC. Its so obvious that the game was made for console but they could have at least put in SOME effort for the PC port. If you aren't used to the AC genre, then you're going to have a tough time getting used to the controls.
- The game does this thing where it makes it seem like you have a bunch of different ways to complete a quest but in reality, there is only 1 true way to reach your objective (making the game very linear). A super generic example of this is like climbing a tower. There are a bunch of windows and ledges you can latch onto, but there is only ever 1 proper way to fully reach the top (I wont go into details for missions since that would be spoiler territory). Very few missions give proper freedom to the player in how to complete it. If you can look past this, the gameplay is still fun.
But thats honestly the only real downsides.
TLDR;
I really liked the game. Pick it up when it goes on sale & live your best assassin life.
(Expect ~30-40 hours of gameplay if you're 100%'ing the game)

Brotherhood is a great continuation on Ezio's story and the gameplay improves multiple aspects.
Combat gets a big improvement with killstreaks and the crossbow is overpowered, but in a fun way.
The Courtesans, thieves and mercenaries and a bit overshadowed by your ability to recruit new assassins to help you.

The House of Borgia is not happy with a now 40-year-old Ezio for his actions in the Vatican at the end of Assassin's Creed II. After Ezio barely survives their counterattack, he travels to Rome to exterminate them from the legendary city. He realizes he must fight a war, and in order to that, he wil need soldiers. Who are these soldiers? Any citizen who is willing to put on a hood and pick up a weapon to join the Brotherhood, of course. Summon them to assist you in combat or send them on contracts all across Europe to undermine Templar influence there.
If you liked Assassin's Creed II there's no reason you won't like this. It expands on everything that made II great and builds upon its shortcomings to make it even better.

Lets say you play the campaign (which lasts more than 2 hours, so you cant refund either) and wanted more and tried to upgrade to deluxe version for 2 new single player maps and the armor. Well, you cant. You can't even buy the deluxe version if you own standard one. Steam doesn't let you buy it. And according to some other users, you can't even remove standard from your account (without refund. so you have to pay again for the base game) and buy deluxe version. Apperantly steam sends the standard version key again (steam basically gives you a key to active on ubisoft's platform). To make it work, you buy as a gift from another steam account for your own account after removing the standard version from your main account (without getting you money back)
So basically you have to be able refund the standard to get the deluxe version OR you have to PAY AGAIN FOR THE BASE GAME to get the dlc.Even that is not easy to do as i said earlier. such a mess
i bought this a while ago during a sale. I thought i could just buy dlc stuff later. you cant. sorry for bad english

As good as AC2 maybe even better.
The graphics have aged really well. Controls stayed the same. Sometimes a bit clunky when climbing or trying to target somebody.
Combat is still mostly doing counters or dodge when its a 2handed enemy/
Story is again really well written.
I do feel that some climbing puzzles are unnecessary and sense as a filler.
On to Revelations.

This game is the first to introduce secondary objectives during memory sequences which can be completed on the first try most of the time.
During my playthrough on PC I experienced two issues worth noting. There is an FPS drop at random times. This did not impact my gameplay, so I played through the entire game without feeling a need to resolve them. The other issue I experienced was in the War Machine mission Flying Machine 2.0. In this mission the bomber would freeze in midair and not turn, making it impossible to finish the mission. To fix the turning I had to adjust my resolution to 60Hz. However, I was still experiencing the bomber freeze mid air making me an easy target. I concluded that the bomber would freeze if I went too high. The solution then is simple, fly below the ceiling. With that plan and my new monitor resolution, I had no issues completing the mission for 100% synch.
Overall, the gameplay makes for an incredibly fun game, but the story is a great support to AC2 instead of its own great story.

This game is essentially AC 2 but more polished with new features, if you liked that one you'll probably like this one, most of what was in that game is also here for the most part. This game can get a bit repetitive but that can be said for most assassin's creed games. The story and characters are written fairly well, nothing you can't poke holes in, but good enough to get you invested. The combat is really easy in this game, but at least it's not tedious like in AC 2. The stealth is kinda bear bones, but it gets the job done for the most part. The parkour in this game is pretty good if a tad slow, it can still be satisfying to climb tall buildings with it though. As a whole the gameplay is a bit slow paced, that's not a bad thing but it might bore some. If your kind of person who likes open world games, you might enjoy this one, or maybe you just want to see the story because you heard it was good ether way, I hope you enjoy your self. Also, random side note DO NOT try to get 100% sync unless you REALY like it.

Strengths:
- In AC2, there was symbols for options but they fix it in this game. They added keyboard.
- You make your own assassins, and then you send them to the tasks, and this make me feel so strong as Ezio.
- You can play as Ezio one more time.
- You see Desmond's life more than AC2, because you can leave the animus. There is an option about this.
Weaknesses:
- Story is too short considering AC2.
- In the end, you do not understand what is going on exactly. At least I felt this way.
This game is not good as AC2 but without comparison these two game, AC: Brotherhood is a good game that worth its price and time. If you love AC series (1 and 2) you should take this one too. Its graphic is same as AC2. However, it do not bothering you because playin style, parkours, story, and Ezio make you don't mind its graphic. Its graphic is so good I think, considering its date of publication.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
This game continues the storyline of Ezio Auditore while at the same time improving the game mechanics and story quality. I believe that Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is better than it's predecessor as the game not only improved parkour and easier combat but also a new feature where you can call upon recruited assassins and the economic system is on a lager scale. The graphics are also improved in comparison to Assassin's Creed 2. Unfortunately the game still uses earlier features like treasure chests, feathers and flags which is very frustrating for 100% completion. Personally I like that this game limits its map to one city as it then allows for more focus in said city, Rome. Other than that there is not much to say as the game is quite familiar to Assassin's Creed 2 with a few improvements and a slightly more interesting story.

There are some improvements though. Voice acting is far better and doesn’t sound cringy anymore. The graphics are much smoother and don’t look as soapy as before. Characters models and backgrounds have become pretty at last. The new assassins recruit system is rather neat, sending your fellow assassins to missions and calling them in to a fight looks and is effective in a conflict with big groups of guards and just makes you feel like a badass assassin leader. The city economic system is okay, it is quite the same as it was in previous game, but little wider and complex. Music is still good, and the story is okay.
Now, the bad sides. There are a lot of situations when instead of just showing you a cutsene, the developers make you follow some NPC, who is giving you some brifieng/lore/not-related gameworld info. Classic stupid mechanic straight from the 90-00-s that is absolutely not fun. It is extremely tedious, especially the fact, that their walking speed is faster than yours and slower then your running speed. The combat have become much more dynamic and fast-flowing, with the implementation of fast executions, but it is still pretty repetitive and too simple. The interface for most of the side activities, like the city economics or assassin recruits missions is awful and unconventional. The other problem is new gimmick – 100% syncronisation side-missions which unlocks the true story ending, but requires you to complete the missions in the way the developers want you to. But why should I? Where is the freedom of a choice? Why shouldn’t I play the game like I want to? Nobody knows…
The multiplayer mode is great by the way, had some fun playing it at release.
All in all, it is an okay game, for its release release. I mean, the game is not that bad or something it just doesn’t deserve your time I think, but if you’re looking for a relaxing almost 0-brain activity open world game to play after a work while sipping on a glass of beer – this is definitely your choice.

Brotherhood is a direct sequel to II. So much so, in fact, that Brotherhood picks up literally the moment at which II ends. Beyond its story, though, it makes a number of drastic improvements on its predecessor. Most notably is that it runs a bit better. Assassin's Creed II has an unfortunate, persistent stutter, in addition to effects pop-in that really draws back from the experience. Brotherhood still features these issues, but they are much fewer and further between, suggesting a bit of massaging of Ubi's Anvil engine between games. This is in addition to having higher resolution textures and better lighting effects in general. It doesn't feature the abundantly thick atmosphere and filters of AC2, but I chalk that up to taste, anyway.
In addition to the graphical and stability improvements, free running animations are much more expedient, and free running in general is much more polished. I notice myself being frustrated with free running gaffes such as making the jump in a wrong direction, or getting stuck on geometry, far less frequently than I ever did with AC2, which could have me singing curses at it when a free running oddity would ruin an assassination approach. Brotherhood seems to have fixed the majority of that wonkiness.
Combat is also revamped in a huge way here. AC2's combat felt clunky, slow, too sticky, and plagued by a poor camera. Everything is streamlined here to great effect. Proper counters, a bevy of tools at Ezio's disposal, and unbelievably slick animation work leads to the new chain-killing feature being extremely satisfying to execute and really making you feel how much of a master combatant Ezio has come since his youth, running across Florence's rooftops to try and get it in with some rich noble dude's wife.
The focus on just a single city is a huge boon for this series, too. There were far too many viewpoints to hit in AC2, and they dragged the pacing out and felt like busywork. The half-dozen areas in AC2 only added to this—most people fondly remember Florence and Venice, but Romagna and San Gimignano are both forgettable at best and only serve to take the spotlight from the better areas. Brotherhood doesn't suffer from this: Rome is front-and-center, sprawling, and it feels far more realized than either Florence or Venice did in AC2, and lacks none of their incredible atmosphere. I also loved this aspect of Unity and Syndicate, and I do hope Ubisoft considers doing a single-city game again in the future. I really feel it lets them stretch their legs and add an appropriate amount of depth that a major European city like Rome, Paris, or London deserves. I don't think it's a coincidence that these three settings are my favorites in the series! But, I digress. Back to Brotherhood...
While I've never considered the stories to be the main draw in any of the AC games, Brotherhood's is easily the peak of the series. The effortless banter, great dialogue, and some of the voice performances (Nolan North as Desmond and Kristen Bell as Lucy are spectacular whenever they're quipping back-and-forth) really carry a lot of the experience here. It also starts with a bang (literally). Each time I replay this game (on console in the past) I always find it hard to put it down until I get through the beginning, because it's such a satisfying roller coaster ride and an apt love letter to Assassin's Creed II, before it moves on to become its own thing.
I'd also be remiss not to mention my favorite feature in this game—indeed, probably my favorite feature in any Assassin's Creed game! The Assassin bureau management system and all the perks that come with it are insanely addictive (I once played this game for 19 hours straight back in 2011. Don't judge me. I pay my taxes, alright?). It's so freaking cool to put it to use, too. Recruiting assassin apprentices, sending them out on missions and leveling them up, and then seeing them in action in-game when you call them in to take out a few guards or help you out in a fight is just so damned cool. You are basically summoning an Ezio from the first game to swoop in and stealthily dispatch an enemy. It's always so slick and it never gets old. You instantly feel like chief of the bad-asses each time you do it, and it makes you want to continue going back to the bureaus to level them up some more. Having a full set of master assassins on hand in the late-game to help you out at any time by silently dispatching enemies in front of you as you make your way towards your target is just the coolest thing I've ever done in an Assassin's Creed game. And engaging in an all-out street war with you, your assassins, and a dozen guards is just always so cool. Gunshots ringing, clashing steel. Man, it really never does get old. This game's almost 10 years old and it's still so much fun!
If there is something bad to say about Brotherhood, it's probably that the stupid flying machine level, which is truly awful and frustrating garbage—easily the low point of Brotherhood. The thing controls so terribly, it's just unreal that it even made it into the game. Or, a more general flaw, that this game is just too damn easy. Wiith Ezio's new arsenal, his spectacular countering and chain-killing abilities, it's never been easier to simply carve your way through a dozen enemies with ease. Factor in being able to summon your own assassins to pick off enemies, and much of the game becomes trivial to conquer. But that's how I like my open world games, if I'm being honest; beautifully realized, fun to look at and explore, and just a pleasure to exist in. I don't really pick up open world titles for a challenge, I pick them up to veg out, hit map markers, and discover cool stuff. And in that, Brotherhood succeeds in spades.
I love this game, man! Assassin's Creed Brotherhood kicks ass. It's the best the Assassin's Creed series has ever been. But you've definitely got to play Assassin's Creed II, first, to fully appreciate what Brotherhood does so well. Start there so you can feel the full impact of how excellent Brotherhood was when it first dropped back in 2011.

VERDICT:
This title is certainly a step up to the previous AC, even though this game feels like a huge DLC to Assassins Creed II. I still feel satisfied with the purchase I made, considering this game is only £12.50 which is a bargain for what the game gives you. If you're a die hard AC fan and playing for memories/story then this is a must pick up game to add to your collection, following Ezio and Desmond in their in depth story.
Total Score = 95/100.

GAMEPLAY:
It is the third major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to 2009's Assassin's Creed II. The plot follows the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and the Templars, who desire the same but through control. The framing story is set in the 21st century and features series protagonist Desmond Miles who, with the aid of a machine known as the Animus, relives the memories of his ancestors to find a way to avert the 2012 apocalypse. The main story takes place immediately after the plot of Assassin's Creed II, featuring Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze in 16th century Italy and his quest to restore the Assassin order, and destroy his enemies: the Borgia family.

By the end you are extremely overpowered, you have two dozen different ways to kill people. So while it's not challenging anymore to take out a group of guards, you can have lots of fun with the different weapons, or limit yourself to a single kill method for a challenge. It's a power fantasy game where you run around and feel like a badass the whole time.
Combat is fun, not particularly challenging but varied enough to be stimulating and entertaining to watch the animations. Economy is ok, I don't really remember the investment system for the shops, not sure if that is new since I played it when it originally came out, but if you really looking for endgame content for this I suppose you could get into it.
The map and city of Rome is really fun to explore, the landmarks are very cool to see for the first time.
I think this game has probably the best balance of climbing mechanics, the earlier games were not loose enough, but the newer ones in the series are waaaay too forgiving. While you still fly off edges, have some weird ledge grabs, lose your balance and do some janky jumps sometimes, overall the parkour and climbing is very satisfying. Back-ejects and side-ejects are especially really smooth once you master the mechanic. It's still sometimes unrealistic when doing certain manuevers (actually a lot of the manuevers) but fun, that's all I can say. The game is fun.

Story is truly amazing and has no flaws IMO, Ezio evolves so much as a character that anyone should be able to look back at his journey and find at least a part of it that they can relate to, and to also realize how important family is to him and how important it should be to everyone else as well.
Kinda disappointing that Bugisoft hasn't taken the time nor shown even the slightest interest into resolving the game-breaking bugs that often occur during gameplay, luckily 99% of them are resolved by locking the frames and lowering the monitor speed to 60 HZ.
Also, the best cliff-hanger ending that we've seen from them thus far.
Strongly recommend, 10/10 from me

What I like:
+ The story is brilliant, on par with its predecessor, and the cast of characters, old and new, hold their own and enhance the quality of the narrative. Ezio is more the wiser in this entry and is without a doubt the best character in it. The antagonists are really good as well!
+ The outside animus story is really good as well. Being able to explore Monteriggioni in modern day as well as having conversations with the characters was one of my main childhood memories of this game. Still holds up.
+ The combat feels a lot more fast paced in comparison to previous entries. You can now chain executions after completing a successful execution. This can also be done with a successful counter. Whilst doing this you have to constantly be aware of your surroundings and be aware of interruptions. It’s quite entertaining, and it looks really cool.
+ The crossbow is a brilliant addition to the game. I normally despise crossbows in video games, but Brotherhood got it perfectly. It’s easy to use and it’s incredibly effective.
+ The ability to call in other assassins to support in combat is one of the best aspects of this game, and it’s what makes it stand out in the franchise. As you progress, the Brotherhood becomes more and more established as new recruits are added. You can also send them on missions across Europe which level them up and provide you with items and money.
+ The climbing hasn’t seen much changes, but there are a couple of minor changes and additions that have been made. It’s now easier to jump onto ledges that are parallel to you, and the lifts make it easier for vertical traversing. Other than that, it’s still good.
+ There is a very noticeable visual upgrade from the previous entry, especially in the character models. There’s much more detail and focus. The level design is fantastic as always. You spend the majority of the game in Rome, and it is a brilliant place to explore.
+ As well as the main story, there are other things you can do. AC: Brotherhood is the first entry in the series to have proper distinct side quests. They’re nothing major, but they’re unique. There are also other story lines to follow such as The Followers of Romulus and learning about Ezio’s ex-lover, all of which are very interesting.
+ Once again, the music for this game is fantastic. Iconic tracks from AC 2 have returned, along with some iconic new tracks that help immerse you into the world. Jesper Kyd is seriously fantastic.
What I don’t like:
- The ending. Assassin’s Creed isn’t really known for having really good endings, and this game is no exception. My problem with it is that it didn’t make much sense to me. It felt way too abrupt. My opinion of this might change as I continue my playthrough of the franchise, but at the moment, I’m just confused.
- The bugs. Oh, the wonderful bugs. There aren’t loads, but there are a few. Climbing can be a nightmare sometimes. You’ll want to do one thing, but Ezio will want to do another, so there will be times where you’ll have to find a compromise. There’s also a game breaking bug near the end where a crucial cutscene won’t play. Oddly enough, this was fixed by turning V-Sync on. Don’t ask how…
- The air tackle mechanic is stupid and pointless. There were so many times where I wanted to hang off a ledge, but instead Ezio would just jump on top of somebody, forcing me to climb again. It does more harm than good.
My Overall Thoughts:
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood was the second game I played in the AC franchise, the first being Revelations. It is without a doubt, one of the best games the franchise has to offer. It is the definitive Assassin’s Creed experience in my opinion. Being able to establish and manage the brotherhood of assassins only reinforces it.
I’ve seen people call Brotherhood “an expansion to AC2” or just simply “a big DLC”, and I couldn’t disagree with this statement more. There is more content in Brotherhood, and the mechanics are more refined. I honestly think it’s slightly better than its predecessor. Only slightly.
Although I was taken off guard by the abruptness of the ending, the past games so far have had abrupt endings, so I can’t say I was hugely annoyed by it. At the end of the day, questions usually get answered. Same thing goes for the bugs. They’re there, but they are manageable.
At the moment, Brotherhood stands as my favourite in the franchise. This may change as I replay Revelations, but Brotherhood is something special. It’s less about a character’s journey, and more about something greater. The staple of the franchise. The Brotherhood itself.
My Final Rating:
9.5/10.

The story starts right after where the previous finished so if you care about it you should play that before (and ACI too obviously). Hard to say anything w/o spoilers, just one thing: the ending was a bit rushed... or that might not be the best word. Rather everything picks up so quickly you just finish the game from almost w/o a caution. Slow build up then a quick ending.
Also it has some gameplay elements that are kinda useless. Especially the whole assassin crew because the game is just easy enough you can do everything alone. The shop investment part is also feels weird because the game doesn't really explain what it is, the online site is dead too... so yeah it's weird. But apart from these it's a good game!

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is an amazing AC game and probably goes without saying that all the Ezio games are awesome and are some of the best AC games made. I originally bought this game 10 years ago when it came out on the Xbox 360 in 2010 and was my first AC game that introduced me into the series and since then has been my favorite. I think with many other game series my first is my favorite which could perhaps be sort of a bias especially after replaying through it a second time the game isn’t as great as I remembered it and even consider the fact that I may like Syndicate or Origins far more but this game is still a classic game for me and I’m sure for many other people. Many people love AC2 and see it as the crown jewel of the AC series, personally I wasn’t that hugely floored by it and prefer this one more so but both are great games. AC Brotherhood is a fun great continuation to Ezio and his great set of characters with tons of new gameplay mechanics, location, tons of side stuff, cool antagonist, and multiplayer.
+Instead of multiple different locations throughout different cities in Italy the game now solely focsues on Rome exucleisley which is a much more easier way to focus and keep consistency in the map layout
+Ezio is badass
+Tons of unlockable outfits like Altair, Desmond, a Metal Gear outfit lol, etc.
+Tons of new and more weapons than AC2 as well as more armour
+Crossbow is amazing way better than the gun and is an awesome addition
+Fighting is super easy you can practically insta-kill almost any enemy or you can insta-kill from any counter and can break enemies blocks super easy nothing stands a chance against you
+New insta-kill mode where after getting one kill you can keep a rapid succession of insta-kills if you are uninterrupted
+Better colors and customization options
+You have to buy each store in the game for it to be open which initially seems problematic but the game is all about rebuilding Rome and seriously focuses on side related content, with the buying of stores you can buy other buildings and locations which allows an 20 minute income at banks where you can make significant money if you buy a lot of locations and is really nice if you idle for 6 hours and rank up over $50k. Overall easy to earn money and quicker and better than the last game
+Treasure maps and now maps for feathers and flags
+A massive amount of side activities for you to do the game has tons of it from challenges, many different side quests, and training levels, etc.
+Story spoiler
epic cliffhanger ending
+da Vinci
+More in depth and frequent fast travel system
+Parachutes
+Side quests that make you leave Rome and visit beautiful landscapes of surrounding areas of Italy where you have to destroy and use advanced mechanical creations by da Vinci
+Assassin Recruits are awesome and are a massive help especially the arrow storm which just insta kills a massive amount of enemies is always epic. Also the little mini quests on sending them to locations and leveling them up is a fun little side game as if.
+Lairs of Romulus
+Cristina missions are a nice throwback to AC2
+Free da Vinci DLC
+Auditore cape is actually beneficial now
-Game is very buggy and glitchy several characters mesh and glitch into walls or themselves or get stuck, etc.
-Lots of meshing like characters swords will go through their body, paintings or pictures on walls will glitch in and out of the wall it's on making a strobing light effect as it glitches back and forth, several walls flash as well as they glitch through a wall its behind. Other things like characters hair disappearing from a distance or seemingly only parts of it making what appears to be bald spots appear like literally characters hair disappear when you get far enough from them. Several floating statues and other trees and objects, eyes glitching out of heads and flashing… you get the point there’s a ton of bad graphic issues.
-Why does Leonardo still appear on the map after you’ve bought everything from him? He literally has a cutscene telling you there's no point in talking to him anymore you’ve bought everything yet his icon keeps jumping around the map.
-Weird AI pathing several times important characters you need to be following or tailing will bump into other NPCs or fall of a roof and will be unsure what to do usually spinning around which is problematic during tailing missions as when you’re tailing someone you’re not suppose to be seen by and they walk into a group of people the AIs direct path tells it to turn around and try again causing them to see you.
-Had an NPC spawn in the floor and only his head stuck out of a set of stairs lol
-Sync challenges suck lets be honest they are the worst thing in probably every AC game and you should just save yourself the trouble and not do them. Especially when they don’t tell you exactly what to do like the mission where you tail Michelleto and you have to have your recruits kill his associates if they use ranged weapons this doesn’t count yet the game does not tell you this. This happens multiple times with many different challenges like the guild challenges as many of them tell you do something but miss a key factor you have to do to actually unlock it causing you to struggle to actually do it in return.
-Guild challenges sometimes don’t track correctly aka you’ll do an objective to let's say kill 10 soldiers you’ll kill 18 and only 4 will be counted
-Gold rating on the virtual training levels dear god probably the most infuriating thing I’ve ever done
-I have to point out with the guild challenges appearing on chalkboards in their respective locations is just pure chicken scratch and looks entirely unreadable lol
-The da Vinci mission where you fly his air bombing prototype has to be the worst mission in an AC game for me without a doubt especially the full sync to get not shot is so annoying because if you get shot you have to restart the entire level… Also inverted flying sucks and the thing is so hard to control and fly dear god what a terrible mission.
-Disliked the item quests that you had to find specific items from chests or pure luck basically to unlock certain good items. This was annoying as it became super difficult to get specific items and after sending my recruits and multiple item missions and looting every chest in the map I still didn’t have enough items to complete the quests and the investing always messed up on me.
-Story spoilers
So let's be honest Ezio should have and realistically would’ve killed Rodrigo in the previous game it just makes sense to take down the top templar guy that everything strived from that his whole campaign and career delivered to do. Yet he decides not because he has nothing left and what's the point. Really? The man that was basically behind his family's death and many others just gets to live because Ezio has basically destroyed his life or for some reason feels the need to spare him which lets be honest is BS. The only reason this happened is because Rodrigo doesn’t die until 1503 and they wanted to make another game… I just felt like it was a lame plot decision to let him live only to allow him to continue as pope and to rule the templars like nothing ever happened! He should have just escaped from Ezio at the end of the previous game. Only to have him rarely appear and die very fast like wow.
-Really wish there was more Cesare he was such a cool and badass atanogist yet rarely appears in the game aside from the beginning and end you mainly deal with all his lackeys and taking down his empire I just feel like games are better with an outstanding and recurring antagonist like Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2
+ amazing environments, smooth gameplay
+ great main character, good story
+ added assassins guild with corresponding members and abilities, integration of guild members into gameplay
+ ingame economy
+ crossbow, heavy weapons
+ mission conditions to win
+ horses
- repetitive aspects of the game
- fast travel
This is yet another game that successfully improved uppon the previous entry. The graphics are very good, with somewhat better and more realistic collours than the previous game. The gameplay is improved in my opinion and the character feels much more responsive, despite the ocasional random jump to his death. Ezio returns for the continuation of his story, from where we were left in the previous game, which means that a great main character is garanteed.
The addition of the assassins guild´s members, that can be recruited and sent to missions was a fine addition. Plus the fact that we can call our friends to battle, making some of the missions much easier and much more interesting. The ingame economy follows the example of the previous game, but this time applies to the whole city, from regular stores to the bigger and more expensive monuments.
The crossbow is a great weapon, that we all needed, even if we didnt know it yet. However, it outshines completely the throwing daggers. Since both are somewhat similar, the fact that the crossbow can kill silently and much more effectively, makes the throwing daggers somewhat useless. The heavy weapons are too much fun. While I get it that we are silent assassins and such, you really need to get your hand on a heavy weapon. Oh the fun.
The mission conditions to win are now more like optional challenges that impact only on the synch rate per mission. Having a higher synch rate unlocks some of Ezio´s memories, but it is not necessary. That makes the missions much more enjoyable and since we dont need 100% synch in all missions anyway, we can decide what to do and how to do it. Personally I like it this way.
The horses are still adorable, although there is no way to buy one for yourself, to keep during the whole game. You jump on a horse and he becames yours, thats it.
The game is still cursed by some of the boring repetitive elements. The assassins´ missions are repeatable and dont seem to work to any particular end, rather than reward the player with very little money and relics/items that are mostly useless, unless you are a completionist. Some of the missions feel like clones of themselves and I found myself a little bit worn at the end of the game, when the game randomly wants you to kill someone, simply because it is convenient for the guild. With no strong story drive whatsoever in some cases, these missions feel a little hollow and are not so entertaining. Some feel more like work than actually enjoying the game.
The idea to fast travel through tunnels is interesting, but ultimately not very usefull. You always need two tunnel entrances, one next to you, another next to where you need to go. Rarely are things so perfectly aligned, so mostly I did not use the tunnels. It took me more time planning the routes and searching for the tunnels on the map, than to simply use my horse to get there.
The positive aspects of the game completely outshine the negative ones. For AC players, this game is definetly a must have :)

So lets look on Pros and Cons:-
Pros:-
1. The main story line is still good, especially towards the end where some interesting things happen <3
2.Great Voice Acting Makes You Care About The Eclectic Ensemble Cast.
3. You can make your own Assassin's guild where you recruit citizens to your guild, train them by sending them on missions and you can summon them in battle which is the most effective way to tackle many missions while remaining in the shadows.
4. Economy system where you can rebuild Rome and earn income from landmarks or shops you rebuild.
5..The Borgia family controlling Rome is a 'bad guy' you can see the effects of. Gaining control over the city actually feels like something that matters, as opposed to this vague assassins vs templars thing that has lasted for three straight games and still never gets anywhere.
Cons :-
1. Camera Spazes Out At Times.
