Über das Spiel
You will have to cater to the passengers by keeping waiting time to a minimum, by having friendly and helpful staff around and by making passengers feel secure, keeping any potential criminals at bay; a happy passenger is a shopping passenger. Hopefully you won’t run into any problems such as employee or equipment breakdowns, bad weather causing massive delays or emergency landings. You will be responsible for when things go wrong and, of course, filthy rich when things go right.
Running an Airport
Your objective is to build and manage your airport to perfection by making strategic decisions, building an optimized airport and ultimately making sure that your passengers and airlines are satisfied. You will need to build the entire airport from scratch including terminal foundations with floors, walls, doors and items as well as the airport infrastructure including runways, taxiways, aprons and other necessary structures. Everything in Airport CEO is deeply simulated and so you need to manage its operations by making strategic decisions such as hiring the right staff, controlling expenditures and optimizing processes.
Airlines
Airlines and their travelers are an essential element of Airport CEO as they consist of the main source of your airport’s income. Signing contracts with airlines bring cash-flow and passengers to your airport which means opportunities for claiming an armada of different service fees, as well as passenger consumption. Airlines come in different sizes and have different requirements on your airport and the services you offer, you are responsible for not only planning the flight schedule but also for meeting and maintaining the needs. For example, flights during rush hour could generate more income as airlines are prepared to pay more in fees, but on the other hand late evening flights are normally less desirable and you might be forced to reduce the fees for flights operating at this hour. Occasionally you will need to handle emergencies and delays due to bad weather or accidents in the area, all which will put your management skills to the test.
Passengers
Passengers in Airport CEO are versatile humans with personalities, needs, a background story and most importantly; a flight to catch. Passengers are deeply simulated and their decisions, behaviors and opinions about your airport are affected by a number of different factors. Passengers in Airport CEO, just as passengers in real life, have to wait in lines, check in, pass security and then entertain themselves until their flight is ready for boarding. Arriving passengers must find their way out to the baggage claim, get a hold of their bags and pass customs before getting on their transport. Whether they’ll be able to actually catch their flight is up to you: Passengers might have a hard time finding their way around the airport so you build an information desk, passengers might get irritated because of the long security queue and waiting time so you extend its capacity, passengers might complain about the lack of fun things to do in the gate area so you build a duty-free shop, exclusive brand boutiques and business lounges.
Employees
Employees are those you rely on to keep your airport running. Just as passengers they are deeply simulated individuals who have minds of their own affected several factors. Employees have a number of different roles and it is your job to make sure that your airport has the right and necessary work force. From airport staff, janitors, ramp workers and mechanics, security to administrators and executives. The more you expand your airport, its range of facilities and its passenger capacity the more versatile and skilled your employees have to be. When employees interact with passengers they’ll have to be skilled at managing people and stress resistant in order to avoid processing errors and letting the wrong people through.
Facilities & Buildings
Airports are complex mega-structures with a lot of different buildings and facilities. While a small airport might not need more than a simple grass runway and a terminal, as you grow your airport you will have to expand its facilities ranging from air control towers, fingers and aprons, taxiways and service paths to fire, weather, catering and fuel stations. As your airport grows your terminal grows, you will have to make sure that it is equipped with the necessary facilities that passengers are expecting. Building a terminal in Airport CEO is 100 percent custom: You decide its shape, its layout, its components such as the floors, the walls and the doors. Baggage needs to be processed and transported to the same flight as its owner and its all up to you when it comes to avoiding bottlenecks and designing the ultimate airport terminal.
Being a CEO
Data, data, data! As the acting CEO of your airport you need to be able to make difficult business decisions based on real intelligence. In Airport CEO you will ultimately be provided with huge amounts data from which you can draw conclusions and manage your airport. You will be provided with a set of different panels highlighting what you want to know, if you have invested in the right technology collecting it of course. As the CEO you will not only be responsible for the architecture of the airport but also for those working in it. Tired of screening every janitor you need to hire? Establish an HR department and let them do it for you! Tired of assessing the monthly budget balance? Create an accounting department, or even better, hire a CFO to make sure that you really make the best decisions.

Also Abreißen, Tor bauen, Straße neu bauen.

Einschätzung;

It's fun to plan and expand the airport. There are a few minor bugs that need to be patched, but that don't really disrupt the flow of the game. I can recommend the game with a clear conscience. If you are a fan of such scurry building games like Prison Architect or Another Brick in the Mall, you should grab it.

Ganz OK.
Terminal 2 Will kein Mitarbeiter arbeiten. Aber keiner will in T2 gehen.

----
So I'm really a big fan of the game but with the best will in the world, the wayfinding, the bug of the wayfinding just comes over and over and over again after a certain playtime and also a reload brings nothing. I have extra already subscribed to the beta in the hope that something improves. I think and fear unfortunately the developer gets the game so no longer under control and the whole thing will show again and again in the gameplay.
Can not recommend it so (more) because it is so simply not (more) playable. Very sad because the game is (has been) world class.
See other reviews, im Not alone with the openion.

I wanted to make some suggestions about features I thought would be very cool but are missing right now.
I listed some ideas that are pretty solid and also some longshot crazy ideas.
I hope you people make more games like this. Your game is amazing. Thank you for this amazing experience.
Pass Prio for vehicles
In intersections sometimes vehicles or even planes are letting each other pass first (probably the first one starts moving gets to pass first ) instead of this Different vehicles can be assign to have prio in this situations.
Such as baggage trucks passing first and others waiting for them in intersections. This way we can make our airport service road traffic more efficient also this might create more micromanagement feeling to the players.
General aviation is kinda weird. It literally has no purpose just build a runway and parking spot in the corner of your map and it makes money. You won't have to worry about it at all, you won't even have to build terminals.
My recommendation for general aviation is that we should be able build terminal building for general aviation as well where VIP customers can land with their own private jets and want to have lounges or hotels inside of the airport or VIP lobby where they wait for their plane to refuel or repair.
Also we should be able to buy VIP limo VIP vans to carry general aviation vip passengers and offer them vip services with certain requirements.
This brings me to another piece of advice if a VIP or a regular passenger wants to arrives at the airport via helicopter. We need an LZ with connection to VIP lounges or to general aviation parking zones.
flight crew and captains walking around my airport would be good aswell and I would like to be able to assign them private zones or even offer them meal and accommodation services for a price.
Smoking areas should be a thing as well. We need to design open areas and assign smoking areas as well. This way we should have 1 more thing to worry about, which is a good thing in micro management games.
Also
Renting options plane parking spots, hangars and most importantly office zones available to rent for aviation brands.
Also we can have
ticket sale spots on airports for aviation brands .
Another office type we need is rentacar offices with contract that require designated parking spot etc
Security issues
passenger causing problem ( this way patrols makes sense right now security has ZERO things to do beside xray )
selling airports just like in a prison architect game and starting a new one with the money I obtain from selling my airport. Also, I want to be able to see the total worth of my airport in the economy menu.
better assign interface for vehicles hard to with 175 vehicles PLEASE I BEG FOR THIS
also let us see our vehicles like list mode or smaller pictures and scroll easily it's a pain in the ass right now and you can just make it like like Microsoft folder interface ( list menu small icon big icon etc )
MORE AND MORE cosmetics after a certain amount of hours airport is very efficient and self sustained there i want to spend more time to reach perfection with more cosmetics more flowers or trees
Also i think low lighting should be punished passengers should be dissatisfied after they walked by not lighted areas
I think there is a bug. There are no ways to adjust paychecks but still a union strike event occurs and they want me to give my employees a raise.
to create more passive income
selling walls for advertising ( cause ugliness but brings money this ugliness method can be obtained front the game Rimworld )
we have so much money nothing to do
Late game
whole page dedicate to spend more money to have more customer or employe satisfaction
(just like operation page on off buttons)
Employee shuttles from their home to work ( cost money increase happiness)
Employee meals (same)
Adjustment button for employee clothing and gear
etc etc.
policies page can be added with adjustments as well
eg
security policy
harsh ( physical search )
Medium (regular)
Low ( alot faster ) but more dangerous
let us adjust how much flight we want our cio and coo to accept automatically
DAY : Max 60 flight
Night : 10 flights ( so we can do construction etc at nights?)
With a simple adjustment bar would be an amazing feature to have.
And more policy that we can decide
I also have some extreme ideas
Adding anything related to flight marshal ? idk it's a long shot.
vip (prime minister) landing or takeoff events
(operation manager should handle depending of his or her skill)
red carpet etc ( causing delays in other flights or forcing player to cancel flight in order to not cause huge queues )
integration room (international passengers sometimes should suspicious or their passport should be fake and u need to catch them etc)
deadly incidents ( even without players fault)
and punishments from government if its players fault and press coming and creating pressure on marketing value )
Marketing value just like security g.a or commercial satisfaction we need to be careful to not mess up our brand with variables such as having advertisement on walls decreases

There is no easy path to upgrade, and adding new systems to your airport can take literally hours to figure out. The baggage system for example is an incredibly complex pathfinding system with ZERO information given and you have to google everything and even then it will inspire random glitches. I gave up when my entire airport out of nowhere decided they couldnt find a path to anything anymore. over it!

Very good game to relax and just focus on building your perfect airport. However there are some bugs where you just don't understand what the heck is going on like when you assign a service car to a plane stand, but it just doesn't go there and do their job. But the problem is that you have to do service check for each plane in order to complete the turnaround, so these planes just stay on stand for eternity and create a mess in airport's schedule. Or when you start to build a somewhat big airport, the game start to lag and can even crash, so you have to save almost every 5-10 minutes.
But the game itself is very fun, with well designed progress line where you start with a small airport that can barely perform 20 turnarounds per day and end with an international mega-hub which can service even the biggest airplanes such as Airbus A380 and Boeing 747. If you like spending a lot of time designing and planning all sides of an airport (baggage handling, catering, cabin cleaning, etc.), and, after you built the airport, realising that you can do it better and rebuilding all of the stuff from scratch, so this game is definetely for you.
P.S. Watch how your mega-airport lives its own life (ofc if you built it right) is super-satisfying.

Firstly, the UI. A lot of icons have no labels, so it's not very intuitive on first glance. Also, there's too much complexity in getting things set up - many kinds of roads, taxiways and foundations are needed to get a basic airport up and running, meaning a lot of clicks. Some buildings are categorised oddly, and again aren't labeled so there's a lot of trial and error while you hover over everything.
The tutorial itself gives a good overview of the systems, but is frustratingly vague in places. I built a terminal but then realised it had to be connected to roads, and have carparks and sidewalks put in afterwards, so I had to demolish it and start over. I built a staff room, but had no idea how big it needed to be, and the tutorial didnt tell me I needed to build walls, doors, and windows myself. Once I did hire staff, for some reason they couldn't find their way into the room itself, even though the contractors could make their way there just fine.
It's a shame because it looks like the systems are deep and interact with each other well. The music is really good, a relaxing vibe that reminds me of the old SimCity soundtracks. But I think the presentation, onboarding and UX need a bit more polish before I'll jump back in again.

1) The game is very specific about how things work, and the tutorial while complete is somewhat passive. It's just text and images, so you really have to pay attention otherwise stuff in your airport won't work. Combine this with...
2) Lack of tooltips that pop up, or any explanation of iconography. How and why things are working the way they work takes a bit of time to understand. Additionally, there's some buildings that require public roads and service roads, but nowhere does the game explain the indicating icons for this, leaving you to figure it out (like the vehicle checkpoint and catering building).
3) The game eventually buckles under it's own weight. First, it gets real laggy when you start adding security zones and international zones. This lag jumps in when you try to build anything that modifies these zones. Additionally, planes start to become late to takeoff despite supplying 1 of every vehicle necessary plus ample time between flights, and it isn't apparent why. I suspect it's because vehicles and crew don't leave the parking lots or break rooms until the plane arrives, rather than leaving ahead of time to be at the plane stand when they arrive.
DESPITE ALL THIS it's a wonderfully fun game to build your own airport, start over, build a better one, etc. I recommend playing on higher difficulties as you begin to understand it as the game is pretty forgiving with how much money you make off flights.

The beginning game is filled with micro managing and trouble shooting errors it throws at you (Forgot to open the runway for the first 2 days). Thats fine I guess, not for everybody but it can be seen as an attribute of the game. The late game is terrible though. After you get a few more passengers and money coming in, you start having a lot of bugs. Some passengers stop moving, sometimes causing delays on flights. Right now I've stopped playing because my contractors just wont move, regardless of if I dismiss or redeploy them. I've also seen issues with plane pathfinding, them stopping for other planes while taxi-ing when they had more than enough time to get through, causing traffic jams.
Other things such as incredibly finnicky designs made it impossible to actually play with some of the features. I make most of my money off of selling fuel to jets (about 40,000) and the entire game I haven't played with the fees tab. I had 100% approval rating from each airline across the board, until I took aviation fuel price from 0.5 to 0.6, just ONE tick. There was literally no other possible metric to increase it by. That dropped ALL of my airline ratings to 0%, causing them to not give me planes to schedule.
Its fun watching your money rise and making more and more profit, but for a fully released game, it has more bugs then almost all of the early access games I play. Give it a year, maybe the devs will actually fix a few things. But right now for 25 bucks, I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

I enjoy Airport CEO. I have more hours into SimAirport, where I started pre-release and since purchased their add-on. Airport CEO appeals to my desire to control the metal - move the airplane as I see fit. I wish SimAirport did this, but I do like that in SimAirport that the plane (and people) can change their mind, and quickly!). I have also recently started Sky Haven - I love this game, and appreciate that it's about metal, not people. People of course matter, but metal is more important!
If the three games merged into a masterful singularity - it would have Airport CEO for airplane routing, Sky Haven for airside service, and SimAirport for passengers. For now - I skip between the three - if not daily, then weekly, to imagine the perfect management game.

As far as management simulations go, this one's pretty detailed and in-depth.
-- The learning curve is super steep & it will take some effort to get used to the mechanics. It gets better once you put some time into it. The tutorial is a pretty bad one and does not do a good job explaining what things do and you will struggle to figure out some things even with it. It helps if you have experience with these types of games.
-- Graphics are well-done and the controls are manageable. Audio ambience is a nice touch when you are zoomed in to certain places. When I played it, you were able to get a free DLC called Supersonic which I think is great touch.
-- Game progress is unbalanced though, when you get to a certain point the growth gets really hard to get past.
For the cost of $24.99 it is an acceptable cost. I do recommend it if you are big into tycoon style games or simulation types of games.
My Youtube VOD of my playthrough is up, so check it out and see if it's your kind of game!

First, I want to thank the Dev for their hard work,
I have been following the game since it was announced. I get the sense that the studio is a small team of devs who have been working exceptional hard on their creation. The game has come a long way since the earlier iterations.
On the other hand.
This isn’t a sim. This is not a management game. This is a basic building game, and there isn’t all that much to build. A few hours into a new game, I quick become lost at having no purpose. It seems the most important decision you will ever make is whether to place the toilet horizontally or vertically. Everything else is just inconsequential. If you get tired of that, you don't have to build any rest rooms, it will be just fine. In one game I went as far as refusing to help any aircraft with emergencies. Any repercussions? Nothing that I noticed.
This is not a sim game - Aircraft run into each other, stack on top one another. Wings clip into the buildings and objects with absolutely no consequence. So are the passengers, cars, trucks, service vehicles. Aircraft take off and land on runways with ten planes already stacked near the off ramp.
Runways are unrealistic short and narrow, can only be built on heading 0,90,18,and 36. There is no diagonal runways, and cannot intersect another runway. The runways can only sustain ridiculously little amount of take offs and landings before it’s out of commission for maintenance, yet they never needed to be plowed even in the coldest winter.
The roaring sound of 747 engines are no match for a few extremely determined dairy cows and critters, watching them blocking a large jet cold in its path, which had no problem clipping into another fully laden jet just a min ago. But once the plane has made it to the runway. The law of physics is once again selectively lenient -running into a 1,000 lb cow during takeoff is ok, but hitting a 10 lb bird is not.
This is not a management game. I only hire the most expensive employees. I only buy the most expensive service vehicles. I never negotiate with vendors and just take their asking price. I built a 4 stories office palace just for the CEO to work. Yet I am just rolling in the dough (on Hard). Imagine If I don’t care about the parking fines, then the whole city is my parking lot. I refused every single emergency, the fine can’t touch me financially, why bother. Why do we still bother to implement the concept of money in this game? Just let me build anything I want and purchase anything I want. What’s the point to hire a CFO and tinker with all the fees if I never run out of money?
This is a basic building game. There is nothing unique that sets this game apart than letting you plot down a floor plan to build a 2-D building structure. Remove the runways and aircraft and add a few beds you can re-brand this game as a hospital sim or a hotel tycoon. There is ultimately not enough depth to make this game unique.

Building my conveyor system and taxiway layouts is very enjoyable as well; I don't feel like I am limited or hindered unnecessarily. There could be some small QoL improvements to building/replacing existing assets but overall it's pretty dang good compared to other top-down builders.
I would like the option to hire only/mostly people from my geographical region. Having virtually all of my US airport's staff from places like Chile, South Africa, or France is a bit unrealistic. Would be cool if we could name our staff members as well!

The management aspects in Airport CEO are good for the most part and let you set up different regions for your staff to work and rest.
The few issues I have are hopefully addressable. One, more information is needed for the baggage scanning system as much of it is needed and was only found in the forums or in guides.
I recommend this for any management sim fan who wants to dive into the details of designing an airport.

While I like the game idea a lot, the game has just way too many bugs, not thought through mechanics (which I don't know how they got into release version) and a introduction which tells you like 90% what to do and the 10% left out make you search google. Too bad these are the ones which get the game blocked.
After 2 bug reports and a bit more than 2h playing (ok, spent quite some time looking on google how to fix my issues...found nothing) I decided it would be better for my heart and mind to ask for refund. Hope that I will get my money back, even though I'm close over 2h. If not...then Airport CEO did it again and once more annoyed the c*** out of me.
Might return at one point, if the issues are fixed, but at this moment this is no release version.
EDIT: Thanks to steam, I got my game refunded and end up with seizures in front of my display. Still, I don't even go so far to recommend it for 2h and then get a refund. Just wait until people with more than 50h game time don't complain about the bugs anymore and don't be a sucker like me.

All administrators do is sit on toilets all day while I'm paying them to do their jobs
...11/10 for realism and cute in an Early Access Alpha Version but definitely not good enough for a complete 1.0 release.On top of it the UI reeks, the pathfinding is an absolute nightmare, the mechanics get old fast and none of the promise that was shown in Alpha has been developed on or even given any thought whatsoever, mods nonwithstanding.
Graphics are as generic as the copyright avoiding airline names, the whole management aspect is gimicky, the information and build-options are buried in a hellish maze-like structure that makes no sense and is counter-intuitive and given that these should be the meat and potatoes of a game style where you are expected to look at heavy amounts of numbers and information to better make decisions...you can see where priorities went wrong in development. And on top of it everything but I mean everything from the sound effects to the clunky vehicles feels like it's a in-development placeholder.
TL;DR - Another money-grabbing Prison Architect clone that over-promises and under-delivers while feeling rushed and heavyhanded. Not worth your time.

The game does not have many disadvantages, but please bear in mind that during late game, when you have 150-200 flights per day, it might be a bit demanding on your system. However, the devs are taking performance very seriously and doing their best to make Airport CEO run] as smooth as possible.

First off, never buy an Early Access title. Learn from my mistakes.
Now, this game is full of various functionalities and features that would generally warrant a good review as far as management sims go. Unfortunately, it is hampered by two major problems. The first is its abysmal visual QA, where everything looks placeholder and the art assets feel unpolished. The second is the sheer number of bugs and quirks that you will have to either put up with or struggle through in order to make the best out of it.
It feels like this game is a vastly undercooked beta release that has been 1.0'ed just so they can say it's a full release. However, heed my warning. This is not a finished title. I cannot recommend the game in its current state.

What makes Airport CEO stand out some more for me is the level of attention to detail for how things work in real life. Within the bounds of a workable game I thoroughly enjoy this approach. It also adds a lot to the enjoyment of watching the whole operation smoothly after investing time and effort in planning and building your own vision of an airport.
The random events are a nice touch as well with up to date situations in a wide range of topics, one random example that I liked is
the recent global virus outbreak event.
I can go on but i feel it's better to highly recommend to purchase this one yourself.

GREAT GAME ... it will be after 5-6 more major updates :)
This game has a whole lot of potential. It strives for realism and engaging management but still fails hard when it comes to simply playing. It doesn't crash or anything, it's stable, but the number of bugs and glitches gets weary after 20-30 hours.
It's quite enjoyable at the beginning with small aiports (GA + a few small commercial) but it grows into a nest of (bug) problem solving and workarounds once you grow your aiport to a medium/large size. This is mostly due to how the game is developed, as in few, but major updates over time, with very little minor updates or fixes in between. The major updates bring new or completely redesigned systems with a list of bug fixes. This is easier for the devs but harder for anyone spending hours, reloading and struggling to work around a bug that may have been solved weeks ago but is waiting with everything else for a major update to be released. It's quite frustrating for the players and makes you abandon your airport often...
It's still a YES for this game. After another few months, when most of the existing bugs have been fixed and feature chains properly implemented, this WILL be the best airport management game available. Until then, the only reason to buy it is to support it's development. But if you prefer something working right now, SimAirport is available and quite stable on all ends, and I also recommend it as it's quite a different experience to Airport CEO.

This game provides a quite accurate representation of airport operations on various scales; including an email system to really nail the realism - you can pick where the airport is, which will assign a large city/town in the area to be where it's 'based' in. And it will even provide weather/enviro conditions related to the general climate/locale you've chosen.
You can make relationships with the individual airlines and sign contracts for each - even fueling and catering companies can be interacted with. The selection of aircraft to appear is extensive and constantly being added to - you've got plenty of detail and quality to work with.
This IS an in development game - with the occasional bug or weird AI operation from time to time; but every time I play it, this game is much more solid than the last time. I am always excited every time there is an update; and I can't wait to see what the devs work on next!
The steam workshop implementation is also fantastic - allowing real life airlines and companies to be included as well. I hope the devs do come back after this is 'completed' to add more either in updates, or even DLC as long as enough is provided for the price they choose! This is a fantastic game that I will regularly sink hours to to come.

Owned the game for 3 years and cannot even play the thing.
The cannot change anything without canceling flights and pissing off the airlines is just plain STUPID!

This game is perfect for you if you're searching a 10/10(an ideal game in other words). I played ~3 days around 10 hours per day and i left my work, a party with my friends for this game :) !!!
At the beggining it will take around 3 hours to understand how this game works(from A to Z), then you will forget about real life xD
In terms of management, it's just phenomenal and I understand developers why the game it's still in early access after 3 years. Because if you want a very good product like this, you must to work and i really appreciate the patience and the hard work they put in for this game and i wish me and my team to do in the future a product as perfect as this.
This year i found just 2 perfect games, that's Red Dead Redemption 2 and this one.(I don't do marketing to other games, I just appreciate and advertise products that really deserve to be appreciated).
I will not write more, just go and buy this game!

The only 2 drawbacks I have are:
- Replayability. Unlike games like Prison Architect where you can visit a game again and again, this one seems a bit empty once you figure it out and have built reasonably big airport with 40k profit an hour.
- Most of a time it is very hard to resolve an issue you have. Like why your passport controls won't work or why your staff won't rest. You have to google various questions like 2-3 times an hour. There are usually no useful answers on internet and you think it's a bug. You come back to an issue and then figure it out with trial and error eventually.
I'm 40 hours in and I had trully great time, but I hope there will be more to it.

Other staff also get stuck, even though the room they want to get to is near, with a clear path ahead of them. Although the game is still technically beta, it has been out for a while now, with multiple large updates, so it should not still be having these kind of issues (especially given its price). I've played for over 60 hours and the same pathfinding issue(s) inevitably comes up with every new game.
Some other things I would like to see improved:
- A better tutorial (it was easier to learn the game by playing it on sandbox);
- The zone / room overlay should not be turned on by default when placing an object - this is especially annoying when placing seating;
- Secure and international zones are too finicky;
- Instant building of foundations: it takes far too long to build a large foundation, and the deploying of contractors is unnecessary and boring;
- More variety in decor and plants;
- More passengers should use the restrooms, restaurants, shops and lounges, instead of rushing to the gate;
- Passengers arrive far too early for departing flights, causing unnecessary congestion;
- Actual flight times to real destinations from your airport (for example, Auckland to Mexico City is not a current route, and would take longer than four hours;
- The ability to pick up staff and assign them to areas, like with vehicles;
- Traffic inevitably gets out of control (even with the subway station built);
- When building a luggage system, I would like to see the carousel beneath the current floor that I'm building on, so that it's easier to connect up;
- Real life events (economic / political / disasters / emergencies).
Currently 6 / 10 - with pathfinding resolved: 9 / 10

I bought this game at release in 2017 and saw it progress from a fun but buggy early access project to a great early access title today.
Every few months I will start up Airport CEO and when I do, I play it for many more hours than I intended because I get so sucked into the game and the new exciting features that were added. Recently the update I was most looking forward to finally got released: large aircraft (The Big Bird Update). You can now land and handle Boeing 747's, Airbus A350's and equivalents and it is so awesome to see those large aircraft land, taxi and being fueled and handled on their stand.
The game is very enjoyable in its current state, but not fully completed yet and also not perfectly balanced. For example, once you start making good money it is basically impossible to go bankrupt or have any large setbacks. Nevertheless the game has a wide range of awesome features that feel realistic and rewarding to unlock and implement in your own airport.
On the forums of the official website you can follow the community voted features that are being worked on and that are being suggested for future updates.
The developer should be immensely proud of this project and I'm very sure the game will only get better as development continues.
