Sehr gut.

o Ansprechendes Zeitfahren gegen Weltbestenlisten
o Übersichtliche Boxenmenüs
Neutral:
Contra:
o Muss ich lange überlegen ... editiere ich später vielleicht :-)
o Nicht alle HUD Elemente in allen Kameramodi verfügbar?!
Wenn man etwas Geld investiert in ein paar Packs hat man mit dieser Simulation eine wertige Anschaffung im Bereich SimRacing getätigt :-)

They are really expanding their public events as well, with weekly ranked events for a variety of levels and in different vehicle classes.

Literally becoming my number 1 sim, honestly.
Yes, it's kinda expensive, but if you go to their website and buy their VRP and then buy the content using the VRP, you get quite a ***thicc*** discount.
So for every sim-racer who's at least a bit experienced in the field of the sims: its FFB is great. That effect you get when shifting and such is so damn immersive and it just feels great. Understeer, oversteer, brakes locking, losing grip gradually, it's all there.
There's some rather famous cars (Group C, Group 5) as well as some modern GT cars (mostly tailored towards German DTM or ADAC GT Masters series, though). However, there's also single seaters of all kinds and loads of very fun cup cars.
Tracks wise: it's a cool combination of lesser known ones and the classics. You get some nice variety there - most tracks offer multiple layouts as well, so they do become suitable to other classes in some cases.
You as a sim-racer already know: it's an expensive hobby. As a newbie, I tell you: sim-racing is a damn expensive hobby. But if you're quite convinced by the content you get for free to test the thing - you won't regret buying the full stuff. Honestly.

Came from AC, ACC then iracing. RaceRoom is up there among the best. Im very happy spending the money on this as you do get your monies worth. Free to play without any purchase but once you do you will gladly spend
some money for the cars and tracks you like. So many options and no ongoing monthly fees.

The free to play and ability to test drive cars shouldn't be dismissed as insignificant as it eliminate buyer remorse. Although some classes (i.e. GTE) can be sparse in selection. The number of disciplines available are vast and all content is the making of Sector 3, so no modding integrity issues.
This sim allows for straight away racing for those that do not wish to fiddle with car setups as the default setups provided will be more than sufficient for the majority of wannabe racers. The new UI is simple and concise and offers plenty of help when and if you decide to tweak the car.
Lastly the racing ,AI is best in class, as this too has been refined to the point that wheel to wheel is possible without the AI having a unfair advantage. The Ranked Servers, again hard to beat, the rating system does seem to have an effect as most drivers now understand that erratic driving, losing control and making contact will keep you in the doldrums of Rookie indefinitely and once you advanced the class of driver is noticeable in the level of respect.

Before the force feedback overhaul the game was good but nothing special. Now I can say it has the best drive feeling out of all the games I tried and is on par with AMS 1 but the difference being the widely better content here.
I finally picked up the premium pack today (discount, 50 euros, but only if you buy VRPs) and jumped in the BMW M4 in Imola with the AI as a quick test and it felt great!
My comments on the game can be summarized as follows:
- Content (with Premium pack): 10/10 (Hundreds of cars and tens of tracks). I recommend going for the premium pack (wait for discount like I did and buy it with VRPs, I can't stress this enough. otherwise you could pay up to 90 Euros instead of the 50 I paid) if you don't already own anything as this will enable you to take part in any online race you desire (provided you have the required rank ofc). Alternatively the starter pack which I think is around 7 euros discounted and it offers a decent start into the rookie class but I am not sure how far that would get you in time as you progress to unlock more ranked servers.
- Graphics: 4/10 (it is still based on DX9 and the textures are terrible at times, the only real downside of this game, try the free version to see for yourself)
- UI: 8/10 , bested only by PC2, AMS2 and ACC. and only because I can't seem to control the menus from the D-pad on my wheel. The in game's default HUD is awful! Look up OtterHud which is a modded version with many more features. better yet, use crew chief which also enables OtterHud usage and it increase the immersion and the information you receive while driving.
- AI: 9/10 I'd give this a 10 if it wasn't for the slow starts in some cars and tracks. otherwise the AI is kinda amazing.
- Sound: 10/10 nothing beats this game in terms of sound, not even ACC which was my previous benchmark for sound!!
- Multiplayer: 9/10. Update: After a few hours in the ranked servers I have a better opinion on this. Multiplayer ranked servers are divided into classes based on your driving rank, they generally drive cleaner than in any other game I've seen (on par with ACC I'd say), even the rookie class which I am still a part of. The servers get full as well, with races regularly having over 20 cars in them. The only thing I don't like at the moment is the randomness of it all, there is a set of cars and tracks and you can only race those (ranked servers, private servers are probably a different story). On the plus side I have been driving a wider variety of cars that I wouldn't otherwise. But as a tip: do an offline practice session if the car or track are not familiar to you, otherwise you might end up having a bad online race like I first discovered. The sessions are usually divided into 7 min practice, 7 min quali, and 15 minute races. sometimes practice is also 20 minutes instead of 7, which definitely helps a bit if you don't know the car well and don't want to do an offline practice session.
All in all it is the most fun I have had online in any of the sims, and I have all of them except Iracing.
- Driving physics: 10/10 best out of all the games in my library at the moment. It is like AC but minus the feel of driving on wooden tires on many of the cars in that game. Or if you have played AMS 1, then it reminds me of that game's driving model, which is great.
All in all, I'd say it is worth to pick up the premium pack for the currently discounted 50 euros. But google how to buy content cause there is VRPs which you have to buy separately and this makes the content much cheaper as it bypasses the cut steam takes out of them.
I am looking forward to the weekend to give the massive amount of content a good spin, since it is supposed to be rainy anyway.

So far I've only played the single player aspect of the game, which is very enjoyable, but I can't wait to try out some of the online competitions for prizes. The game just seems a little bit more immersive than the others for some reason.
The default setups on the cars seem pretty decent on most of the tracks I've tried, the graphics are pretty darn good and the sound is really good. The FFB has been superb after the recent update, which is why I decided to try RaceRoom out after watching some videos.
After playing a few hours with the freebies, I was hooked and bought 10K VRP to get the entire package with the deep discount. VRP is the way to go to buy anything, that's for sure.

Discussions often get heated when coming to racing physics and Force Feedback, but for me, I'm can definitely say it feels great on my budget T150 wheel, which isn't direct drive. I particularly like the older loosely sprung cars that have lots of body roll in R3E, the feeling just feels very informative and immersive, the understeer and oversteer feel is very nice. The AI is a bit inconsistent between content but that's okay for me.
I don't own all of the content yet, but with only the starter pack, I found that it is hard to find active online sessions to join. Most of the active sessions I could find are open free practice servers at Raceroom Raceway, which is still a lot of fun. Activity seems generally low compared to Assetto Corsa.

so 10/10. i would like to see some City maps for street racing aswell not only circuit maps. this would make the game super nice. gotta go fast ;)
my setup: G29 with pedals and Logitech Shifter.
only downside: pay2play you only get 3-4 maps max. and not alot of choise of cars, all need to be bought. so i dont buy anything just play the free maps.

Ok, over time, this will add up... but for me, it is nowhere near buying a new game every year. I don't buy for 60$ worth of cars and tracks per year, far from it.
The sounds from most cars is incredible. With a headset, it is simply amazing. In the free cars, the silhouette cars are crazy (sound), I had a smile for 1 hour straight when I 1st tried it.
There is a lot of online competitions.
There is a ranking system now, so advanced players don't have to race against rookies, and rookies won't be racing with pros, which is nice too (as long as you can find a ranked server, which is a problem for me at the moment, more on this later).
There's a leaderboard challenge, which I find myself trying hard to go up the ladder for hours at a time, trying to find 0.1s here and there. You can challenger someone from the leaderboard too, so you pick someone a bit faster than yourself, and you see his ghost car. This really helps to understand where you are losing time, and it really helps me improve.
What this is not, is a casual arcade game. This is a simulator that you need to put a lot of time into to improve your technique and get better at. The official DTM Esport championship is actually done with this game.
On the negative side, at least for me right now, is that with the tracks I own, there are not that many online servers. I find one pretty much everyday, but sometimes we are less than 10 for a race. I never can find a ranked server (rookie for me still, because I have never tried a ranked server yet). I can see them, but unless I buy the track, I can't play. I wish there would be dedicated rookie ranked servers with the free tracks. If you want to race on those (ranked servers) often, then yes, it can get expensive I think, because they are on various tracks of course, not the free ones. Altho, I think after a few track purchases I would probably be set.
Still, even with this negative point, I still play almost everyday, I can't stop, I'm addicted, please, someone help me! :)

Should mention a friend using a controller had a very difficult time staying on the track and has zero problem on PC2.
Can only compare the sense of both tire deformation and weight transfer with rf2 or beamng. It's a real party. Guessing iracing is right up there too.
Ppl complaining about the price structure as if they got tricked into buying the dlc.. Really worth taking that with a grain of salt. The limited free content lets you see whether or not you like the physics. If you don't like any of the free cars, you can test drive and tune every car in the library for as long as you want before spending a dime. If you've done both of those things, don't like any of it and still spend $60 on content you don't want.. I just.. I've probably spent around the amount you might on other like titles at this point, the major difference is that each purchase was made after having actually decided I liked the car (tracks are not testable.) I have zero problem with that and actually like the store. Gas is also complimentary so relax.
10/10
pros:
rubbuh tires you can smell
weight transfer you can taste
road glue downforce you can huff
you'd have to render Nordschleif with a crayon for me to hate it but they didn't
great ffb
very uniform content. great QC
free gas
cons:
Nothing that isn't buried so deeply by the pros I can remember, but i'm strung out on road glue. Oh yeah, fix that chat window. Lord that is bad. Yellow text, center screen on top of the rear view mirror with only two visible lines at once and no access to the actual chat history? At least make it modular so I can move it into the light. How did they think through all that content and leave that so useless? Probably from exhausting themselves designing the snot of every other meaningful element of the game.
And please sign petition for rallycross tracks, Sebring and Monaco here ________

I can't log in to the game with my account because the developers have moved from login-based authentication to Steam-based one, but instead of merging my old account with my steam account (both using same email), the game has created me a new one with no ability to change it. Can't even use my email address, because it's already taken (duh).
The contact/form/support pages on their website are blank.
No answers in Help section on their Discord.
I've found a link to their HelpDesk on a forum, so I've created a ticket, no response in 2 days, and now the 25% sale is gone. Which also is a thing, as the newsletter claims it should last 24.06-09.07. It's 9th July now, 15:20 GMT+2 to be speciffic and I'm not going to buy the premium pack for the full 100€ price. I guess they just don't care.
Event if it would work eventually, after all that struggle I lost my interest in it.
I'm sorry, but your service is just wrong.
