Cadets, Happy Holidays! Yes, it’s that time again but before we head off on our breaks, we at Noobz from Poland and 505 Games wanted to share an update with you on both Total Tank Simulator and Total Tank Generals.
As we’re beginning to finish up Total Tank Generals, we reflect on the year that has been and we’re extremely happy to have such a passionate community behind us – without you, we wouldn’t be doing any of this.
The year certainly hasn’t been without its challenges. Since the release of the Italy DLC, our communications have been sporadic. James joined us, and immediately started to gather all your feedback and suggestions for our future projects – and it’s thanks to you that we have an update coming to Total Tank Simulator.

So, let’s start by talking about that update for Total Tank Simulator
In August, we announced that Total Tank Simulator would be getting a free update. Believe it or not, this was quite a new endeavour. After analysing all your comments and suggestions, while we announced Total Tank Generals, we wanted to give something back to the community and we feel the Japan update will do that.
We’ll be announcing the specifics of the Japan update in the new year, but before we do, we wanted to share with you where you’ll be battling...
Act.1 - Soviet Invasion of Sakhalin and Kuril Islands, August 1945
Act. 2 – Operation Downfall. The American invasion of Japanese Islands, November 1945
Both acts will see a variety of gameplay modes to test your skills in the new region and with brand-new units, models and maps.

Next, let’s give you an update on Total Tank Generals.
Launching next year, the brand-new WW2 turn-based strategy wargame - a tribute to our favourite games – is perfect for tactical and history fans alike.
We’ve taken everything that we’ve learned from developing Total Tank Simulator and improved it exponentially. We love playing these games too, so we know how much detail is needed to make the game fun and engaging – something we’ve focussed on while moving through the milestones.
As mentioned above, we wanted to provide a more detailed look at your units; not only giving you top-line stats such as health, ammo and resources – but also their morale and their historic details. These aren’t just chess pieces that you’ll be battling, these units represent real soldiers who lived through history.
In Total Tank Generals, we’ll be exploring the WW2 journeys of some of history's most infamous generals; Erwin Rommel, Georgy Zhukov and George S Patton

In 2022, we heard you loud and clear, in 2023 we’re acting on it - Introducing, THE WAR ROOM.
THE WAR ROOM will be a monthly community series, hosted by James (505 Games) with some special guests joining us from time to time. We’ll be giving you updates on your favourite games, sharing what's new, what’s to come, what hasn’t worked and how we’ll address this.
We’ll also be providing a spot for you - the community. Showcasing highlights, hot topics and more importantly your cool stuff. If you’re a creator who specialises in wargaming, or history then we want to know!
The first episode of THE WAR ROOM will drop in January.
