Skywind is a total recreation of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, built from the ground up in the more modern Skyrim: Special Edition engine.

Skywind sheds the shackles of the older game, bringing modern graphics, assets, and sounds, a full cast of voice actors, and all the benefits of fifteen years of gaming improvements, while preserving the incredible characters, locations, and quests with which Morrowind charmed the world all those years ago.

Skywind is a total conversion mod that is remaking the 2002 game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in the more modern Skyrim: Special Edition engine.

Our team is a group of artists and engineers, tinkerers and enthusiasts, unified by a love of The Elder Scrolls, and working to breathe new life into Morrowind.

We’re working to renew Vvardenfell’s beauty and barbarity, its alien terrains and its mistrustful occupants, its myriad stories, its jealous gods, and its long-fated reborn hero.

Skywind is a non-commercial, fan made modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to merge the amazing world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of the Skyrim: Special Edition engine.

While ownership of both games is required to play, the player only actually plays Skywind using the Skyrim game, and not the older Morrowind game. This means that the user interface, combat, and graphics of the Skywind mod are based on those of Skyrim: Special Edition, and not Morrowind.
