Outerlight is a video game developer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was founded in 2002.
Outerlight's first major project was The Ship, a multiplayer FPS set aboard a 1920's cruise ship. The game was released on Steam in July 2006 for the PC. The Ship met with a favourable critical reception scoring an average of 76% according to Metacritic. The game is a commercial version of the 2004 Half-Life mod featured gameplay similar to the final retail version.
The company is currently working on a sequel to The Ship, Bloody Good Time. The game is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in Hollywood and features four different game modes. It will be published on 27 October 2010 by Ubisoft.
