Digital Reality Ltd. is the oldest Hungarian video game developer company, located in Budapest, Hungary. The company is best known for developing the game Imperium Galactica series and Haegemonia: Legions of Iron.Digital Reality Ltd. originally was founded under the name of Amnesty Design in 1991. Their first game was released to the Commodore Amiga in the same year and to IBM PC in 1994. Later, in 1997, the company name was changed to Digital Reality and they started to work on the award winning Imperium Galactica series.
In the following decade games like Haegemonia: Legions of Iron, Platoon and Desert Rats VS. Afrika Korps were produced, which achieved quite high scored review ratings in several game related websites.[2]
Digital Reality had and continue to have successful working relationships with significant publishers of the game industry like Activision or Atari.
Besides Browser Game development Digital Reality also develops, digitally publishes and distributes several other games, not only for this type of platform.
