Weapons Detail: Four New Weapons
BP50 (Assault Rifle — Launch, Battle Pass Sector B7)
“A modular bullpup chambered in 5.56. Tear down the competition with a high rate of fire and exceptional accuracy for dominating at mid to long ranges.”
For Operators needing optimal mobility from their weaponry, the BP50 is a spectacular contender. Offering exceptional maneuverability and a spectacular rate of fire compared to other rifles in its class, this Corvus-built armament can cut down the opposition in a variety of rapid and impressive ways.
RAM-9 (Submachine Gun — Launch, Battle Pass Sector B6)
“More maneuverable and agile than its assault rifle counterpart, this bullpup SMG chambered in 9mm is lethal at close range.”
Offering among the best-in-class recoil control and mobility, as well as the most rounds and reserve of any SMG, the RAM-9 may not win any pinpoint accuracy awards (especially a distance), but it can certainly mow down the opposition with high-damage, chamber-emptying assaults, especially as you close in for the kill.
SOA Subverter (Battle Rifle — In-Season, Weekly Challenge)
“Chambered in 7.62, this hard-hitting rifle dominates at mid to longer ranges thanks to a low rate of fire and predictable recoil.”
With excellent rate of fire and accuracy, manageable recoil, and best-in-class sprint-to-fire and movement speeds, this also offers excellent headshot and target flinch potential, even in its base state. With some fine-tuning, this could be a contender for the optimal Battle Rifle, if you can mitigate the more leisurely ADS Speed.
Soulrender (Melee — In-Season, [[REDACTED]])
“A ceremonial blade capable of razor-sharp cuts and deadly melee action in close-quarters combat.”
A vicious blade of impeccably forged steel, the Soulrender one-handed sword slices quickly and deeply, with rapid slashes — use your Aim button while holding “Fire” enables a guard stance. Release the guard for an instant slice, allowing for expert timing when rapidly approaching a victim. Offering excellent damage and better mobility than any of the larger melee weapons, take this into the fight when facing down the living or the undead.
Getting Attached: Seven New Aftermarket Parts (Launch, In-Season)
Whether you’re intending to tear through the undead (or enemy Operators) with the JAK Limb Ripper underbarrel chainsaw, or you’re wanting a lever-action mechanism for your BAS-B, there are seven brand-new Aftermarket Parts to unlock throughout Season 2, usually via a Weekly Challenge. The weapon(s) each Aftermarket Part attaches to are listed below:
JAK Burnout (Battle Pass Unlock)
Compatibility: Holger 26 (Light Machine Gun)
Gives the Holger a select fire mode called JAK Burnout that provides a dramatically increased fire rate but can overheat and expand the barrel, introducing spread.
JAK Tyrant 762 Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: Longbow (Sniper Rifle)
This caliber Conversion Kit swaps out the receiver and magazine to accommodate 7.62 BLK ammunition for a harder-hitting, subsonic weapon.
JAK Backsaw Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: Holger 556 (Assault Rifle)
A Conversion Kit focused on making the Holger 556 more maneuverable. The stock is removed entirely for faster, more agile tactics.
JAK Limb Ripper (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: Underbarrel Attachment, several weapons
Unrivaled at creating close-quarters carnage, this underbarrel chainsaw makes quick and messy work of anyone foolish enough to stand in your way.
JAK Maglift Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: Haymaker (Shotgun)
This weapon modification reinforces the magwell, bolt, and trigger assembly to accommodate the extra-large drum magazine.
JAK Outlaw-277 Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: BAS-B (Battle Rifle)
This Conversion Kit transforms the BAS-B into a lever-action rifle, slowing fire rate but vastly improving accuracy for deadlier precision.
JAK Glassless Optic (Weekly Challenge Unlock)
Compatibility: Optic Attachment, several weapons
This small, glassless reflex optic offers a crisp and clear sight picture for snappy target acquisition.
Become the Undead Elite with BlackCell
Purchase BlackCell and obtain exclusive access to a special, undead cadre of Operator Skins resplendent in dripping gold and a glowing ethereal purple hue! Expect exclusive access to premium items with full access to the Season 2 Battle Pass. BlackCell owners can enter the Season 2 Battle Map through the exclusive BlackCell Sector, instantly unlocking 20 Battle Token Tier Skips to enable swift unlocking of valuable items.
This BlackCell Sector unlocks immediately upon purchase, granting you the new “John Doe” BlackCell Operator, plus the “Knuckle Sandwich” Finishing Move, the “Molten BlackCell” animated Weapon Blueprint (SVA 545 AR), the “Requiem BlackCell” animated Weapon Blueprint (Sidewinder BR), and 1,100 COD Points.
Progress through the Season 2 Battle Pass. In total, BlackCell members can earn the biggest BlackCell offering ever — over 20 unique BlackCell rewards, including 11 exclusive or alternate Operator Skins and 6 alternate animated Weapon Blueprints. This is in addition to the 110 regular Battle Pass items.
Note that some of the BlackCell Operator Skins have a reactive decay, transforming your Operator from human to zombie, and finally to a skeletal state as you rack up those eliminations!

Operators: Rick Grimes, Laswell, and John Doe Headline the Season 2 Battle Pass
With an undead incursion in full swing, Season 2 introduces King County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Grimes into the fight as a playable Operator, instantly unlocked via purchase of the Season 2 Battle Pass. He’s joined by Station Chief Kate Laswell, while BlackCell owners also receive the anonymous but infamous undead BlackCell Operator John Doe.
The Battle Pass comes packed with a variety of unlockable content, with Skins for Soap, Alpine, Farah, Valeria, Price, Warden, and Riptide, and multiple Skins for Ghost. Expect a deep dive into all the Skins, Weapons, Blueprints, and other items to unlock in a showcase blog prior to Season 2 launch.
Rick Grimes (SpecGru, Launch, Battle Pass Instant Reward)
After being shot in the line of duty, Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Grimes awoke from a coma to find the world irrevocably changed. He traveled through this new apocalyptic wasteland, first to find his family and later to search for a safe and secure home for them. His combat skills and strong moral center catapulted him into a position of leadership among the survivors, with whom he quickly formed strong familial bonds — especially with Michonne.
Rick will not hesitate to act against any threat to his group, be it human or walker. Weekly Challenges
Focus on finishing all your remaining Season 1 Weekly Challenges and unlocking the “Coherence” Weapon Camo, as Season 2 introduces all-new sets of Weekly Challenges in only a few short days!
As always, the Weekly Challenge menu tracks your progress, offering flexibility regarding how many challenges from each game you need to complete. Finish a total of five — picking challenges from Multiplayer, Zombies, or Call of Duty: Warzone — to unlock the Weekly Reward, an Aftermarket Part or a new Base Weapon. Grind to complete more than five challenges in a week for sizable XP gains! Then check back throughout Season 2 to unlock more functional weapon parts and keep your eye on the real prize: the “Rotten Inferno” animated Mastery Weapon Camo, the ultimate reward for finishing all eight Weekly Challenges.

Season 2 Prestige Challenges
Expect the multi-seasonal Prestige system to continue throughout Season 2, with a total of 200 more levels and four additional Prestiges to be unlocked. Beginning in Season 2, the level cap is raised to 450 and an additional reward becomes available. At each Prestige Rank, an exclusive set of Tiered challenges is also unlocked, and completing those challenges grants you Calling Cards in both Multiplayer and Zombies.
